Saroj,
Are there any doubts about SEEing no-self?
Have you seen through the illusion of the separate self?
------if so, we can tackle these fully,
----- if not :) please answer the final questions :)
-->>
Please answer in detail, each question, honestly and earnestly, and refer to direct experience. If the questions requires analysis and speculation, start with direct experience, here and now first, then let thoughts flow.
1) Is there a 'me' or 'you' or 'I' , at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form?
Was there ever?
Can there ever be?
1.5) When you say "I", what in Experience are you referring to?
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works.
3) How does it FEEL to See? describe in detail.
4) How would you describe it to somebody who has never heard about this illusion but is curious about it.
5) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look? was it gradual or more sudden?
6) describe the difference before seeing, at the moment of seeing, and after seeing? describe the key differences.
7) in what ways has Seeing changed 'your' life? what impact will this have on your life?
8) do you have any comments about my guiding, what you feel was effective/ineffective, and something that you would have liked to have seen in it?
_Love

Re: I need a guide please
Hi Art: I don't have any doubts about SEEing no-self; yes I have seen through the illusion of the separate self; however, I will answer all the questions you have posted below so we put my feet to the fire and see if there's any trace of confusion left...Are there any doubts about SEEing no-self?
Have you seen through the illusion of the separate self?
No there is no 'me' or 'you' or 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way or shape or form; it's all imagined. There never was a me/I or you; there can never be a self.Please answer in detail, each question, honestly and earnestly, and refer to direct experience. If the questions requires analysis and speculation, start with direct experience, here and now first, then let thoughts flow.

I am referring to my body.1.5) When you say "I", what in Experience are you referring to?
Illusion of separate self is focusing on A BODY which is comprised of thoughts, images, memories, feelings and sensations; this starts around age two, as soon as we understand (taught by our parents/society) that "I" am an independent being; that I have a mind of my own; my body moves on my command; that I can eat, run, throw things, pick up things, etc., and thus control my environment2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works.
"I" FEEL FREE; "I" don't have to take anything personally; things JUST ARE; if there is no self, who is to FEEL?3) How does it FEEL to See? describe in detail.
I would say that WE ARE ONE and that we are not separate; that what we think we are is just a bundle of thoughts, beliefs, images and memories4) How would you describe it to somebody who has never heard about this illusion but is curious about it.
I would say it was gradual. I grew up in Nepal and all my life I had heard adults say, "Life is a dream; we are just actors enacting in a play." I had no idea what that meant until I read, Jed's books, then Fred Davis' book, then Gateless Gate Crashers. But what really pushed me over was an exercise in Fred' book (I am just going to describe it briefly). He talks about "our sense of being" which never goes away even if you lose every body part you have - first the hand, then the arm, then both arms, etc., until you are left with just your torso and your head...That really did it for me; but I had to really make sure I understood it; so I signed up to go through the detailed process with you. (BTW I read all those books before I asked to be guided.)What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look? was it gradual or more sudden?
describe the difference before seeing, at the moment of seeing, and after seeing? describe the key differences.
Before seeing I was a very sensitive person; okay, (the truth is) I was a VICTIM; I would take everything personally; I thought people were out to get me; but when I saw the TRUTH, it was like Whoa! Really there's no I? I was incredulous first and then the work began and I LOOKED, AND LOOKED AND LOOKED! The life force I wasted all those years on an I that did not even exist! I FINALLY FEEL REALLY ALIVE!
in what ways has Seeing changed 'your' life? what impact will this have on your life?
In the absence of self I am feeling less stressed; I laugh more; my relationships have improved dramatically with my husband and my sisters; secondly, my fears are diminishing;
do you have any comments about my guiding, what you feel was effective/ineffective, and something that you would have liked to have seen in it?
The only comment I have about your guiding, Art, is you were great! You were very patient and persistent and did not let me get away with anything. You were great!
Thank you, Art,
Saroj
