Yeah I see that, but I can imagine him spending a while freaking out before figuring it out too. :)
It was pretty gradual. I spent a lot of time examining questions the app asked and that made me see a lot of it, then I talked through some doubts I still had writing the first reply to you (I went through a few longer versions before I posted it). It felt pretty solid after writing about how the illusion works. While reading the app it was mostly experiencing not being able to find the self. Then fleshing out my answer got rid of some false outs I had that set up 'perspective' or 'awareness' to act like a self.
