Yes!
Now stay complete focused in the now and look:
Is awareness separate from anything?
Is it noun as opposed to a verb, or it doesn't feel squarely in either?
All in all, is it in any way a separate self, or a word for a basic aspect of experience itself?
I would say awareness is everything, not separable. Today I could see how much emotions that are experienced in an antagonizing way tell me I am not aware. Today I see, I am always aware. It is literally all there is, and in the most challenging moments, awareness is there, experiencing the challenge.

Yes 🤍
Does I/Carrie refer to any separate self or doer/controller whatsoever?

No. In fact it is so much a no that when I try to do this (control) I experience so much suffering. Something habitual has been trying so incredibly hard to exert control and when this is not achieved, there is intense antagonizing energy. It causes resistance which is also resisted. I cannot describe the intense discomfort. But also the incredible compulsion to identify with it. Is this normal. No self, but so much emotion. The reprieve comes from finding awareness and staying there.

Yes, relatable, normal.
So no separate controlling self - no doubt?
How does it feel to see?

How does it feel to see?
In moments there feels like a self but I can dispel it rather quickly, then sometimes it takes more time.
I don’t know how to answer - how does it feel to see? If seeing is direct, like awareness, it feels like this is all there is. I have the sense it’s like a veil, and recently it goes up and down frequently

Who can see it and dispell it quickly or slowly?
What is it that seems like a self?
Look! Notice if the impulse comes to answer "right" or "what you know". Don't go with it. Look again when ready, answer what you see.
Do this exercise for periods of your day:
Label experience:
I see
I feel
I hear
I smell
I taste
I think
Play with it in different ways, explore it. Write me what is seen.

Also, can seeing be not direct like awareness?

I don’t know? Maybe not?
I will report back after the exercises.

When I am in the space of experience in this exercise, it seems that I am naturally put deeper into the experience of awareness. Awareness aware of a sound, for instance. It becomes clear that there is always awareness, awareness engaged in experience. When awareness is engaged in thinking, awareness is also experiencing the illusion, this seemingly divide in functional thought and a thought that constructs the more 'precious' sense of I illusory thinking. But awareness is still there, and never separate. And this experience helps me set a more mindful approach to awareness. I suppose it is not necessary but sense it is more pleasant if that makes any sense at all.

Sounds good!
Now do the same exercise for one day without the label "I". Just label experience
Thinking
Feeling
Seeing
Hearing
Etc
Write what is experienced

Awareness is experienced. Awareness experiencing all the things above.

How does it feel to be liberated?
For some reason when you ask this questions I can’t find a response. Why is that?

Good question for you.
Ask many times during the day "how does it feel to be liberated?", see and feel what happens, write what is seen 🙏
