No, not at all. I know this was an extreme example but I was just trying to point that thoughts appear by themselves. There is no thinker to a thought that's why for the same situation, two entirely different thoughts might arise.Could you elaborate on this question?

No, for acting kindly, a separate entity is not required. Infact it happens by itself.I think I am responsible for my behavior towards others ( plants, animals including humans). I am however not responsible for happiness and mental peace of others.
