Hi Allen,
Thank you for answering those questions for me again. As I wrote in my last post, I am going to copy and paste your answers into a coherent format to the best of my ability :) Yes, I had noticed that reading instructions was not one of your strong suits (smiling!!) I will ask other guides to come and have a look see at your responses, and there may or may not be further questions. Maybe there will be because they might not make sense of what you have written because it is a little disjointed because of using an ipad and you finding it difficult to use. I got used of reading disjointed responses....although at times even I found them difficult to decipher! (smiling)
I will get back to you to let you know if there are any further questions from other guides. This may take a day or so.
. 1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form?
Was there ever?
no separate entity and never has been, only a thought labeled memory. so if no "i" me" "self" now, then never was. only a thought story appearing.
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience.
Describe it fully as you see it now.
separate "self" is sense of experiencer of phenomena, with a thought story, and with the layering of labels and meaning on top. Also predictable behavior experienced as a "self", with a informing "others" of historical narative, to solidify self image. also an imagined experiencer of apparent emotions in a body and doer of all.
3) How does it feel to see this?
What is the difference from before you started this dialogue?
Please report from the past few days.
.. its more obvious about story appearing. before could only see some story appear with idea to get rid of, or change the story "here", or in "others". so much more "accepting" apparently. feeling relaxed, hardly any contraction, not worrying about remembering and things to do. seems like it will all get done just fine without all the thoughts. before "i" was always solving imagined problems and senarios in a future; figuring out how to enhance and prop up a self image, and worried about how others would see me. not so much now - actually no point.
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
sobered up and surrendered to universe to be relieved of self saying yes to whatever and this site appeared when looking for help awakening.
5) a) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control.
b) What makes things happen? How does it work?
c) What are you responsible for?
d) Give examples from experience.
..decision is thought appearing to hijack through imagined "self" what already apparently happened. Just looking over and over cant verify a decider. keep seeing it as a thought story appearing after the "fact" or actually an artifact.
Intention is a thought appearing as influencer of other thoughts to create outcome of reality. Such crap. as thought is AE now and really cant do anything. im responsible for NOTHING AT ALL. not even makeing any sense of that question.
responsibility is a thought story to explain apparent "behavior "of an apparent "self". it appears to have "meaning" concerning apparent" qualities" in a "self" - all a thought story in AE.
"free will" another story like the story of "choice". that thought has a power to do actions like choose, speak, right ,wrong ,moral decisions. This is all thought story to explain what is already happening.
"control" is thought claiming thought has a power to influence outcomes by a "self". just a thought appearing
notice things hapenning, and thought appears as deciding and intending. free will has a lot less expression. choice and control - not much arising thought around thought concept. things seem to happen or not, and story appears after to claim experiencer of "things happening".
"Three weeks ago" i was responsible for alot of things, including my actions. now responsibility is just a thought concept, and no one to take ownership of "apparent" actions refering to resposible person.
6) Anything to add?
there is an assumption that this is a beginning.
