What is the direct, lived experience of this?
freaky.
What is the thought overlay on Bec?

Is the yearning owned or free?
I don't know, about the first question, but the yearning is somewhat it's "own thing".
it's felt in the body. I'm not sure about any qualities that read as distinctly "owned" or "free"

It's it's own thing and works itself through the body on its own.

Is anything missing?
nothing reads as "missing".
What is here right now?
impressively, everything is.
( but what good does that do me?)
(answering from thought right now: I have no idea, what that answer I gave is supposed to mean, and I'm worried it's pure intellectualizing, or grabbing onto that was seen just for SUCH a brief moment, that I don't really "own" that insight *at all*)

This head LOVES imagining myself as „enlightened“

It even feels good in the body

hahahahaha

Can any ‘insight’ be owned?

Can insight or ownership exist at all without thought?

What is here right now? Take a look.

There is a body sensation coming along with the thought „this is my phone“.
Felt in left torso, right side of face, lips, around the eyes. Lips again. Forehead and hands. Left foot. Chest.

And I have surprisingly nooooo idea what insight is even supposed to be.
But the question/implication really works itself through the body.
And it can’t be found in DE.

what is here right now? Take a look?

i see there’s something about this. About the immediately available. Though I have no further idea about it.

It’s increasingly enjoyable to reside in this though

Is there anyone to reside ‘IN this’? Can you catch the movement of a self who comes and goes?

It seems like it’s sometimes not there.
Now. That would still be a thought. So….

There might not be a reason to come up with an „I“ given current sensation.

Sound….
Sight isn’t as pure, it feels tangled with body sensations..

„I see this“ feels like a struggle.
„Sight“ fits better.
What to make of this now?…

Sight feeling mixed with body sensation is interesting

1. Close the eyes and hold up one hand. Pay attention only to the felt sensations ‘of the hand’.

2. Open the eyes, and now observe the hand by looking only.

3. While looking at the hand, pay attention to the felt sensations.

Repeat 1 to 3 as many times as needed and investigate…

Normally we believe that the sensation is coming from the sight, the ‘object’ seen (hand).

But if you look, is there any link between the sensation and the sight? In other words, is the sensation ‘coming from’ the sight (labeled as hand) or only thoughts and mental constructs link them?

Can you see that both the ‘visual sight’ and the sensation appear simultaneously but ‘separately’, meaning that none of them is coming from the other or contained by the other?
So they just appear equally, ‘beside’ each other without any hierarchy or link between them?

You can repeat the exercise with different body parts. For the head you can use a mirror.
