Stacy, hi,
You know, grokking there is no self is a pretty good way to say what we're looking for.
Another grok:
Earlier I'd written how I confuse sensations with thoughts of "I" unless "I'm really paying attention".
Today I reasd about Chandi in the Gateless Gate who wrote, "I have to focus to know there is no I."
Ilona asked her
who/what is focusing? Is there something that makes it happen or does it happen effortlessly by itself?
Is there anyone directing the focusing? Is focusing just happening?
Realizing that was also a place where I've been stuck! A nice whooshy feeling came with this. A sense of looseness.
There is no "I" who is focussing, paying attention . . . . that, too, is just happening.

thaks, e

Excellent. That's truth or a body yes.

Just let me know when you're ready to accept that you've had a shift in perception.

And can say "yes" without any "but."

Stacy, hi
Just let me know when you're ready to accept that you've had a shift in perception.

Thanks.

My best friend/brother who's recently been through surgery and chemo learned today that the cancer is still active, and I found myself devastated.

I think I'd like to keep plugging away a bit longer. . ..
I know the but's aren't valid. .. .still . . . . .

How about if I check back in with you in a couple of weeks?

in appreciation, e

Okay. Maybe even take a break. That might help you to relax & let go, so Seeing can arise.

Listen to "Zooming in On Death" on the DropBox, too.

Let me know how that lands.
