Another LU client for whom things recently became really clear wrote this:


The last identification that dropped was awareness. There was a belief that “being aware in the moment” was the “correct” place to “be”, and that everything else was “wrong”. Seeing that “being aware” is just a thought and finally understanding that whatever is, is what is, was a big one.

I think that contemplating this text, and maybe rereading my last questions to you with this in mind, might bring about the clarity that has been missing.

When I observe I am aware there’s a more foundational awareness that is just aware (of the thought I am aware)

Any sense of I is an overlay to the actual experience of awareness/presence it’s secondary

It would be a self referencing thought as observed in observation of pure awareness

It’s like awareness makes these or these arise from it for pure entertainment or for some other inexplicable reason, there is no “truth” or validity or solidity to the beliefs (thoughts)

In order to make a Jess there has to be a set of thoughts self constructing itself that’s an aftermath of the existing presence that remains unchanged and pure

This "presence" or "awareness", would it be the same to call it "awarenessing" or "presencing" or "the mystery" or "reality" or "this"? Would you agree that any of these terms are just labels for reality prior to conceptualization, and that it includes everything and could never be defined?

Both of these work with subtle identifications and dualisms, such as identification with awareness as something separate, or duality between awareness and the senses and thought, as if awareness has separate existence. At some point you might find that helpful.
