No.....I’m beginning to see why it said that the I am is the first expression of the Absolute. In a way as soon as the mouth of the Absolute opens, in an absolute sense, it lies.....sorry maybe this is more bullshit!

Just taken dog for strenuous walk so back in my room to continue unleashing liberation! After exercise the relaxing can allow greater receptivity....maybe!

Can a sense of self be found anywhere in your direct experience?

I think it can as sensing of self goes on despite not finding one!

No there’s not a self just sometimes a sense of one selfing, but no self.

Of course there’s Self that is metaphorically humming or quietly beaming it’s Presence felt as ‘behind’; but describing it like that makes it an object whereas intuition suggests it’s pure subject.
