good to clarify that we aren't looking for any kind of "state" -- but about free will you said "I think this probably isn't true."
Are you able to be clearer about this -- if there is no "self" making decisions, what is it that could be "free" to decide? "Free" from what?

Yes, of course. I think I wasn't completely certain about the meaning of 'free will'. Ok, been looking at it and now that I I understand the term fully I reckon 'free will' is part of the illusion of separate self. There truly is no 'thing' to 'choose' so there can be no free will.
