No "I" is not constant, If I'm watching a movie and get really into it, I forget about the "I" because i'm so into the movie.

Seeing on the hand happens constantly and so does feeling is always there and tasting.

Constant would be all the five senses which are always there.

Intermittent would be the thought "I" only when it reflected on the thinking, "I" thought does arises and yes assumption "I am" experiencing this or that.

Excellent.

Now.... feel into this next question....

Where is the "I" when there's no thinking? Actually feel into where it might go.

Its nowhere, It doesn't exist! "I" thought is only exist in a thought and that's it. I don't know how to explain it, I see there's no thoughts, "I" is nowhere to be found, "emptiness, blankness, silence" words I would describe when looking this "I", just nothing there. Is it intellectual? Maybe but there's some part of knowing.

Stories and thoughts feel less sticky, not that serious, writing this right now feels certain. I'm just wondering if I still be this certain tomorrow when I wake up.

Well, take a look again! :D Does it still hold true? Look throughout 'your' entire history. Hunt the "I" down. Where has it ever gone when not thought about?

I cant seem to find anything tangible to the "I", it doesn't exist but I feel confused to make sense out of it how to go on in life, as self doesn't exist, do "I" pretend living a personal entity but not to take it personally?

I'm stuck on decisions, Can you help me understand how decisions work? I have a fear of making wrong decisions in life, not sure whats the right thing to do.

Hi Taras,

Let's look at what decisions actually are. Can you give me an example of a decision of concern?

Meanwhile, let me ask about a simple action... getting something to drink.

Is there a you who decides to become thirsty or is it a function of the body?
Do you decide on the beverage, or does the decision appear, and the "I" claim it afterward?
Do you decide when enough has been consumed or does the body decide and "I decide" happen only within language?

And then we can look at larger decisions. Relationships, moving residences, going to school, etc.

Choose one and we'll look at it.

One more thing... did 'you' decide to awaken? Or did the decision just come?

I understand as It comes to hunger and thirst, the body sends a signal that its hungry or thirty and thought comes afterwards to look for food.

As decision to go school, or friend invited me to go somewhere, who is making that decision yes or no? It seems the choice would be if it meaningful or beneficial to this body experience?

The decision just came, it seems that "I need to get up" but mostly the body was respond that I need to go the bathroom, so again the body knew what to do.

In the case of the decision to go to school, did the 'decision' come after friends/family/ etc. prompted a thought? Why go to school at all? Isnt' that an expectation, a societal influence? Did the idea come out of the blue or due to influences?

And even in choosing a school, a friend influenced that seeming 'choice', but was it a choice? Or was it all based upon a series of circumstances?

Now that makes sense, it mostly due to social and family influences. I never really thought about it like that but its true the decision goes through certain filters and reflected on the past events, how interesting.

It is based on upon a series of circumstances, so there's no need to worry about it. Whatever shows up, I'm assuming go with a flow.

Yes. It's all an amazing flow. See if you can feel into any decisions that come up in the coming days. Try to pick the independent decision out of the flow of events. Even the smallest decision.

What happens?

Hi Delma

Yes I'm was trying to analyze how thought process of decisions work. For example I file for taxes, I been avoid the whole time but when the dead line showed up, I did them without any hesitation. I cant seem find an independent decision, everything does has connection to past experience or social/family influential or the body showing some symptoms that there's decision rises without much of a choice.

Yes. A prompt from the environment, and the body/brain responds. That's the flow. Nice!

Let's do a check....

Tell me what's left of Taras. When checking reality, does she still exist? And if so, can you tell me, what's left of her or how and when she appears? Is there a Taras to cross the gateless gate?
