here goes...

How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.

Reporting off of what I Have seen the past few days…it feels the same as before only now there is space. Emotions are felt and situations arise only now there is an awareness of the emotion and that the feeling will pass and that there is no controlling it. Before this dialog began it felt as if life was happening to “me” and that there needed to be some sort of control exerted in order to keep things going “my” way (a very stressful existence) I see now that there is no control only the illusion, things will happen without “my” control (which never existed). Also, before this dialog I felt that the answers to all of life where in a church, a God, something outside and that could punish or bring favor.

What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?

The largest push was when I realized that “I” had no control over emotions; it was then that I really began to look. Also, when I saw that thoughts were just thoughts and that a label is put over them so that “I” could claim them and make them personal. There is nothing personal (even though that habit of taking things personal will arise I know that it is just that, habit). When seeing that the story of “we aren’t there yet” was being told and that “something is missing” was arising as a thought, I saw that these are only stories and the very stories that kept “me” looking and searching when in reality everything needed was/is here/now. The relief that was felt when I realized that life was moving without “me”, that it was just life moving/expressing was immense and at times it still is.

Hello, Steve!

Do you decide, intend, choose, control events in Life? Do you make anything happen? Give examples from your experience.

HA! No, I do not decide or choose or control events. Before the label has already been placed on a decision is has already been made, it is only after the decision is made that thoughts arise with “I chose this”. “I” do not make anything happen, how could a thought make anything happen? (Unless you are referring to the law of attraction…JUST KIDDING!) Things just happen, life happens, experience happens…to no one, it just is. Sometimes I observe when decisions needs to be made and it is really amazing to see the direction that experience takes, without “me”, when things and events just happen.

Anything to add?

This “seeing” has shifted the way that things are seen in life. Nothing dramatic, and this is where I was getting stuck because there was the expectation of this BIG shift and light bulbs going on etc…but life is still life-ing and experience is still experience-ing, it is all still the same except that it isn’t. I see the “programs” that run and the labeling with it. Also, just because this is all seen and even known does not mean that all the old habits and learned programs will disappear overnight. I am just grateful for the experience.
