Hi Peter,
The lights in which room, where are the shoes taken off, in the same room every time? Are they to the right or left of the door? near the bed? Is there an understanding of the reason for these questions?
So, do you feel ready for the final questions then? If you have no questions or responses at the moment. Or do you feel you have reached a dead end? Peace, Metta

Re: Looking for Guide
Hi Metta,
Love & Light,
Peter.
There is only one big room in the downstairs of the house. The lights in which room,
They are taken off sitting on the stairs.where are the shoes taken off,
Usually unless it is forgotten in which case it is done in the bedroom upstairs.in the same room every time?
Beside the stairs. Are they to the right or left of the door?
There is not. Can you explain? Is there an understanding of the reason for these questions?
There is willingness to answer the final questions. So, do you feel ready for the final questions then? If you have no questions or responses at the moment. Or do you feel you have reached a dead end?
Love & Light,
Peter.
Re: Looking for Guide
Hi Peterdan,
The reason for the questions I asked were to point to how automatic we do things, no thinking. When awareness is really there, they are done NOW, in capital letters. This can be very apparent sometimes when driving down the same street for months, then one day walk instead. It is like a whole new neighborhood. :-)
Final questions: Answer them as fully and completely as possible. If there is doubt, confusion , then there is no rush to finish. We can start again.
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
5) Do you decide, intend, choose, control events in Life? Do you make anything happen? Give examples from your experience.
6) Anything to add?

Re: Looking for Guide
Hi Metta,
It starts when a child is 18-22 months old when it has had enough direct experience for a sense of self to develop and the metal labeling of things occurs.
It works by seeing itself as the doer of deeds, the thinker of thoughts, the senser of sensations etc. It survives by
the memory of and adding to the story of "me" a separate entity that exist apart from the whole that is awareness.
Because of this sense of separation it goes through life seeking love peace and happiness, and avoiding things the mind deems unpleasant.
There is less of a tendency to blame and it's seen more clearly that it's just Life living.
There is the feeling that many insights regarding the illusory self were had before but this dialogue has made things clearer.
Much Love, Light & Gratitude,
Peter.

No, there is no self, me or I, anywhere, in any shape or form. There never was. There was only the illusion of a self.1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
The illusion of self is the belief in the thought that we are separate entities as opposed to just Awareness.2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.

Things feel more relaxed - at peace; No need to worry about stuff because there is the trust that things are unfolding as they should and we are just along for the ride. Things aren't taken as personally - if someone reacts to me in a way that would have in the past been judged to be "bad" it doesn't seem to provoke the old way of reacting.3) How does it feel to see this? Not sure. It just kinda sank in eventually after some confusion was seen through.4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
No I don't decide, intend, control events or make things happen. All arises out of awareness. Thoughts arise in the mind but there is no self that controls which thoughts arise and therefore no self who decides or makes things happen.5) Do you decide, intend, choose, control events in Life? Do you make anything happen? Give examples from your experience.
Nothing is coming up right now.6) Anything to add?
Much Love, Light & Gratitude,
Peter.
Re: Looking for Guide
Hi Peterdan,
There is an aftercare group that you would automatically be invited to. I will present your answers and if another guide has a question for you to clarify something we will discuss it, if not there will be a confirmation. I would need your FB link if that is not a problem. You may have mine if you like, but not requisite, in case you have anything come up or any more questions.
Peace and Light, Metta

Re: Looking for Guide
Hi Peterdan,
There is some question as to how awareness is seen? It was brought up before as to whether awareness was seen as another self, like a huge, " I ". Or in another way, could there be a review please of what awareness is and how it is seen. Thank you, Metta777

Re: Looking for Guide
Hi Metta,
For some reason there was no auto email saying that you had responded to the last post, so apologies for the delay in this response.
Awareness is the dimensionless, alive presence out of which everything arises. It is through awareness that all things are known or experienced. Awareness is all there ever is.
Only thought divides things into separate entities and objects, different times and locations. Thought creates the illusory self which is then falsely believed to be separate from the perceived outside world.
All that is ever experienced is Experiencing, or to put it another way: Awareness only ever experiences Awareness.
And it all takes place in the ever-present Now.
Is this sufficient?
Love & Light,
Peter.

It is hard to put into words what awareness is but here is what is coming:There is some question as to how awareness is seen?
