I went on this forum to get a motivation for writing about what I'm living; living in peace is very comfortable, but when I think about all these people who do not acceed to this peace, who don't even know that it's possible, I tell myself that maybe I have something to do, as you all do it, and do it well. I feel a kind of responsability, not personal, but human, the responsability of a human being for other human beings. I don't feel it as an obligation, just a direction where naturally to go, with simplicity and humility. I can teach how to play piano, because I know how to do this; but to teach how to be in peace is not easy for me at all, and may be I will never do it; that is what I have to find, and your forum is an opportunity for this.
Just a few words to explain what I call "living in peace". I live now, without past, without future, and testify that the only reality is here and now, there is really nothing else; there may come a thought of "yesterday", or a thought of "to morrow" : only thoughts, nothing! (I quote a french liberated man, Stephen Jourdain, because I never find better words to say it :just a thought, nothing!)
I immediately notice one question you ask : "Is there a you, at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form?"
To be free from identification suppose that the thought "I am me" is clearly seen, and seen as a thought, nothing, but this suppose also to be free from the "emotional conviction" (I quote Andrew Cohen, this expression is great!) of being a "me", in other words to be free from having (My master, Arnaud Desjardins felt an illumination when his master, Swami Prajnanpad told him :"Arnaud, to be free is to be free from having"), "having" being here used in a general way : having power, having notoriety, having a lot of money, having a lot of sex, a lot of food, having a so nice and special personality, and so on, and so on...
I will stop here for today, and wait for your suggestions.
In communion
Michel (my real second name)
