I found the location- it’s behind my eyes. I just didn’t get all the stuff he was saying about thoughts having qualities. I’ll try it again, for sure.

Also, I know I’m not supposed to think, but I’ve been thinking why would I feel more than one sensation on my bum when I’m sitting in a chair? The chair isn’t a part of me but my bum is, it stands to reason that I would only feel one thing right?

Hi Stacy, I couldn’t go to Vince’s meeting last night but will definitely go next week. When you were doing buttchair did you notice a sudden change after 3 months or was it gradual? How does it usually go? I ask because I haven’t experienced any change yet.

Mostly, there is no "usual." Everyone is different. Read Gateless Gatecrashers.

Had many brief glimpses over many many years. Then 2 major episodes of awakening that gave me honeymoon periods of complete bliss.

For some people it's slow and gentle and for others it lands like a ton of bricks. Mine were like a ton of bricks.

The one that happened with LU happened while I was sitting in the car at a stoplight. I looked out the window and everything was glowing and beautiful. I felt high.

That lasted a long time. Weeks, I think. And then as I believed things that were not true, it faded. Specifically, there was someone I wanted to be in a relationship with and they did not want a relationship with me. So believing that we should be dating was stressful and brought me down.

But I have never lost the awareness that I am connected to everything and there is no self.

Almost nothing bothers me anymore. But that is also due to the Work of Byron Katie, not just LU.

That’s interesting, but what I mean is that when you were doing buttchair, did it change things gradually or suddenly? I’ve had nothing yet. I still don’t see where it’s going at all.

I saw no division.

I kept looking at no division. There was no change.

Seeing your butt one with the chair helps open you to seeing no "self."

To be honest I don’t understand the thing Vince wrote at all. It’s gobbledygook to me. How can nothing change if I see through the self? If I see through an optical illusion, the image hasn’t changed but the way I see it has. So something has changed, no?
