[quote]When saying "I have to work hard to do this" - What do you mean?
Is there anything that need to be done?
I understand and appreciate that memories is a form of thought. They can be triggered by information that is read, Films T.V. relationships and many other stimuli.
Some memories are very problematic For most of the time the thoughts that pass through me are benign.
On a few occasions the thoughts are related to events in my child hood over the years it has been possible to recognise
the thought and let it go.
Is there a someone who has to work for something?
No there is no separate me there is memory, there is thought there is everything relation to the five senses.
And when saying: "my intention is not to remember" - what do you mean?
That if a difficult thought is remembered i just let it pass let it go
Isn't memory just a form of thought?
Yes
Is it possible to control thoughts?
Not entirely it is possible to let the thought go.
Is there a someone who has to intend changing anything
No seeing and experiencing that there is no separation of self No Self.
This experience over the last few weeks has shifted my whole perception and has changed the way i look at every aspect of doing, seeing, thinking, relationships, work the list is too long
Thank You

Thoughts come and go. There is no self in the centre no controller.
Thoughts and the stimulation for the thought come from both external events sights, sounds, conversations.
The truth for me is simple there are difficult and traumatic events in my past that have caused distress.
Since seeing these events have not shaken me or had the power to cause harm like they used to.
When watching or reading if a related subject stimulates a negative thought, it seems natural just to bid the thought to go.It is as if i am watching a film rather than being in the centre of the event.
Taking this journey of looking and seeing has also had the affect of distancing the negative experiences as if they are just events not personal
Finding my self letting the words flow on to the page as if the answers had been written for me.Thoughts just come and go.

Thanks Nina,
Alright here is a question from one of our guides who started to review this discussion:

What is a negative thought? Is there something to be afraid of?When watching or reading if a related subject stimulates a negative thought, it seems natural just to bid the thought to go.

Pondering the question i felt a deep shift within that negative thoughts are just that they do not hold sway they come and go they do not have a priority.
There is no self I to be afraid there are thoughts they can not harm any more.
There is no child with in being harmed there are just thoughts. The personality the person that i have become was influenced my experiences in the past.
Now past memories associations of the harm in the past are duller less bright, they don't hold sway.
The sense of harmony, the experience of calm, are new and delight.
Love and eternal thanks

Re: Walking through the gate
Alright Nina here is another question from our guides:
"With Nina and no-Nina (no self) seen as a fiction, what's left?"
Please look at this no self, and look for any identifications with it. Is it a kind of escape from past issues?
10x.

No it is not an escape it is a realisation that (The past is another country). It can not be changed. There is no escape from what occurred in the past,
Through this process i have been able to see the issues from the past and reflect on the thoughts that came to the surface.
This process has made a significant difference to the feelings that surfaced. It is as if there is a clear separation and a calm reflection, an ability to distance and let go.

Re: Walking through the gate
Thank you Nina,
So... I think we are done :-)
You will soon become blue on this forum and gain access to other areas of it as well.
Liberation Unleashed has a few Facebook groups which are intended to help post gate clients to deepen the seeing through the illusion. There are also groups for clients who would like to become guides. If you would like to join one of these groups, please find me on Facebook and I'll direct you from there.
It has been a great pleasure for me,
Thank you.
