LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
'Self' or 'ego' are just concepts that belong to the dimension of thought; thought is a model about reality, but is not reality (like menu vs actual dishes). So ego is not found in perception of reality, has no experience tied to it, it's just an illusion made by the mind when it considers body as center of experience, separated from environment
What are you looking for at LU?
Having a better 'understanding' of non-duality, getting new insights and views about it, keeping in touch with people who share this path of inquiry and research. Maybe just by reading the forum, maybe by also asking my questions or sharing my insights

What do I expect from a guided conversation? Nice question. Well, from a guided conversation I expect to have explanation about non-duality, from people with more experience and a deeper view about this.
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
Some years of sporadic meditation. A course about mindfulness some years ago. A friend told me about non-duality and taught me the basic. Non dual youtube videos and satsangs. Nondual retreat in Barcelona with Lubo and Luchana

Welcome. First, why only 8 on willingness to question beliefs about "self?"
Second, there will be very little, if any, explanation. The process here is Direct Looking. It is experiential, not mental. Besides, we have no idea how anything works. Explanations are just made up stories.

To answer your question: I felt 9 or 10 were too enthusiastic or nerdy
Maybe even liberation needs a counterpoint, like the most beautiful melodies. The secondary musical line exalts the main one by difference and opposition, and I feel it's the same in cosmic/inner symphony. No need to feel 100% convinced about anything
