It is a full stop for the mind. It is not applied to bodily sensation, but to thought trains running amok. There is nothing the mind can do when compassion is needed, except stop producing more thought and allowing sensation to take centre stage.When you use the label “self-compassion”, how does it really feel, i.e. what bodily sensations is it applied to?

There is no seeker, there has never been. There is no choice - no stopping or starting anything. If there is a mask it just is, if there is pretending it just is - nothing to do.
All that can be done is being life - no dropping, no picking up.If you can’t, can you make a pact with yourself to try and drop this identity just for some time?
Like, pretend it’s not there for two or three days, just for fun?
