Wait a minute. Let me remove the emotion.

I am universal/god light. My identity is in two places. I identify with Cheryl and I idenitify with being a universal/god light. I find myself more as the observer and less as the one who identifies the thoughts as Cheryl. When I fall into my emotions, I am just me. When I step out of me , I am everything. Everything is universal/god light. I am not my emotions. I am perfect just as I am without any influences. The possession is the thoughts of Cheryl but the Cheryl thoughts would think "the being" is the possession. I find it a difficult duality I am experiencing. But when I look at who I Am, and be who I Am, then there is no duality. There is no I with identification. There is just a presence of universal light flowing.

Yes! There is no Cheryl, no identity other then labels and experiences. Without the labels, experiences, the past tense, what is left? In the NOW, right in the moment, where does the " I " that is referred to exist? Emotions arise, perceptions, thoughts arise and there is a fall into Cheryl. Great way to express it. Are the labels, experiences, thoughts, emotions " I "? Examine that closely, describe any bodily sensations you have with the thought there is no
" I ". Where are the sensations? Is the an identity in the body? If so, where does it reside? this is coming along very well. :-) Hugs, Metta

Try to describe the thoughts arising and the feelings with no I. Tell me how that feels. the flow is kind of getting interrupted with the long gaps in communication. Is there a reason that the agreement is falling by the wayside? Regards, Metta

Because I can describe the thougths and feelings with no I. There are none. Possibly with no I, there is a feeling of lightness. A tingling in the mind. Possible depending on the given moment a loving energy in the heart. I can describe what is with no I because it is a feedom flowing with no end.

I am sorry. Sometimes I just dont know what to type. I feel more than I think. Plus, as I look sometimes I become lost in letting things drop. It is a feeling of loss and something fighting me to not let go.

Hugs, Cheryl

I slept most of the day away. The mind was full of loving energy and the heart. The mind felt expansive as there was no walls or seperation. It was just an vast open space. The heart filled itself with loving energy. It filled to the point of making a point to stay there and keep it flowing. On waking there is a fight with I to stop that. So my delays are waiting for clariety while my I and essence fight it out. Hugs again. Cheryl

There is the physical Cheryl who experiences and there is the vastness in the open space of who I am.

Okay, looking at the computer screen, observe it, then explain where the seeing stops and the screen begins. Also, if you have a cup or glass in front of you, observe it, what about the cup or glass makes it your cup? Warmly,. Metta

I am sure I have over thought this to death. Such a simple question and I am making it complicated.

My first reaction was to just stare at the screen. When I do, there is no seperation between the screen and myself. I absorb the screen and the screen absorbs me. All else fades. There is no possession of anything. There is no labeling. The screen only begins when i give it identification. My eyes are drawn to the outter limits of the object. The seeing stops when when my awareness is brought to the object. The screen begins when my awareness stops and I regain identification.

I hope this is what you meant by the question. Hugs, Cheryl

Great! the mind imposes structure and labels. It is an automatic mechanism, mind perceives, thoughts arise, structuring and labels begin. This is not something that is decided. Otherwise, it might be decided to call the computer a stove, or a tree a rock. All conditioning ,learned from birth. A baby does not know it's own reflection in the mirror until a certain point in development. At first it doesn't realize it is separate now from the mother, later separation anxiety arises. There is no " You", identification is a learned process. Living in the now moment, just being is the wonderful process of God or energy that occurs that you identify as you. Only direct experience is real. so what is the difference between direct experience and arising? <3 Metta

Direct experience is a calm truth. There is no nothing in direct experience except being. There is only a loving energy in direct experience with a sense of clariety. In direct experience we expand and we are all that is.

Arising experience is the subconcious raising from learned conditioning. Here all surfaces that has been created through experience. There are a variety of emotions of what one perceives to be truth in their sleeping state.

The difference between the two state: direct experience is just being and content with it. Gentle flow.; while arising is worrying about everything but being. Chaos.

Answer in a very detailed way as honestly as possible.
1) Is there a 'me', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?

2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works.

3) How does it feel to see this? describe in detail.

4) How would you describe it to somebody who has never heard about this illusion but is curious about it.

5) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look? was there a specific moment when seeing happened or was it gradual? what exactly happened?
