Do you do thinking? To what would we refer to as the thinker? can you find it?

No, there is no thinker, I don’t do thinking. Thoughts just arise and are seen.

So if you cant find a you how are you responsible? say when the mind is deciding is their something you can point to in that deciding that makes up a "you" what are you in reality?

No, there is no ‘me’ that is responsible. But this body can either be in service to ‘a higher power’, or just running on programming.

1) “The only decision or intention or choice which is possible is to accept what is, to know the truth, to live in alignment with consciousness (or not).”
What needs to be done for you “to live in alignment with consciousness”? What does it mean?

2) “my words and actions can come from consciousness”
What do you mean? Please explain.

3) “this body can either be in service to ‘a higher power’”
What “higher power” do you mean? What service?

I am struggling with the concept of responsibility.

Nothing can be done to be in alignment with consciousness; I suppose I meant intention. Surely the intention to be part of the whole rather than running amok as an imagined individual preprogrammed ‘self’ is important?

My words and actions do come from consciousness so long as I am not identifying with a separate self.

By ‘higher power’ I just meant to use a general term to cover what people call different things, such as consciousness, awareness, god, Self, etc. Everything comes from this, but can be indirect, ie filtered through the belief in a separate self. It is my responsibility to be direct.

When you look into the actions of thoughts and emotions the body moving together with them how is it that you can see those things all happening? Where is the control pad? When we walk we never instruct our legs to walk they just do it. Watch how things just kinda do their thing, this is by no means asking you to relinquish your dutys its just seeing life at what it does best. Thoughts themselves have a nature take time to watch life unfold who is it unfolding to? And how is it controling? Well talk awhile about this because its important.

There is awareness of all experiences (thoughts feelings and the body moving). There isn’t a control pad, but it does seem like I choose one decision or another sometimes, even though there is no me to make a decision. Hence the confusion. I know I can’t be making the decision, but it feels like that. And obviously if I could make a choice then I would be responsible for that choice. But there isn’t a me to be responsible.

I can see life unfolding. I don’t see any controlling, but I don’t know how it all works out like it does.

Keep watching it take the day to just be present notice thoughts when they say you lost being aware or when they are deciding, watch the flow of intelligence. Watch the flow as its flowing, fears and hatreds and sadness may come up but notice them to how they occupy your innerspace, try to look for responsibility in all of it. Try to find a mind deciding where is it if its true. Just read this and go about your day and when ready in the next couple of days tell me your noticing.
