Re: I'm ready to be "liberated"!
Please answer in detail, each question, honestly and earnestly. Use the quote function for each question.
Is there you in any way or form; was there ever a you? will there ever be a you?
How does it feel to see this?
What is the illusion of separate self, how does it manifest? How would you describe it in simple terms?
What made you see this? What was the final push?

I feel disappointed a little because I expected more, but at the same time, i feel its tremeondously empowering since i feel much more knowledgable about the mechanics of thoughts, or at least understanding what it is to know that i am not my thoughts, it is seperate from "me" and i can choose to ignore itHow does it feel to see this?
the illusion appears when u look into the present moment with great detail. it only appears when u look hard for itWhat is the illusion of separate self, how does it manifest? How would you describe it in simple terms?
at first i felt changes in my body. a slight euphoric feeling but nothing unbearable. i also felt greater peace. this led me to believe the possibilty that there really is no self. once i looked deeper, i couldnt find it and i felt i could lose sight of vision. my thought of fear became reality again briefly, but then i knew that i was not my thought and with your help i was able to dig deeeper and deeper through scientific trials of looking for "me" until it became self evident there is none! What made you see this? What was the final push?

Nick,
for this question
"What is the illusion of separate self, how does it manifest? How would you describe it in simple terms?"
Please describe the illusion and how it is formed. You have described how you SEE in to the illusion or how you see THROUGH it. Just describe this 'self', it's mechanics.

Re: I'm ready to be "liberated"!
hey cosmik... parents awoke so im not sure how much time i have left but id definitely like to know what this aftergroup is all about hahaha :D i mean did "i" pass?
the illusion comes from not knowing that thoughts are thoughts
the self is the embodiment of thought. thoughts are really seperate objects that flow on their own, their source comes from past history, etc, but once the thought has a driver that believes in it, that does not seperate or distinguish thought as an object, it becomes the self and becomes reality"What is the illusion of separate self, how does it manifest? Nick,
Good. You've done AMAZING.
This works based on review from other Guides. I will get them to review our conversation, and based on their review, you 'pass' or we keep looking.
For now, great work. Stay in the present moment and be aware. Flow. Enjoi.
You expressed disappointment, but that is only due to expectations. There is so much more to this Awakening that you realize. Get to know this freedom. We can talk much more in the days to come and explore further and further in to infinity.
Keep LOOKING.
You can check to see if there is still the assumption of the SELF,
or
You can look deeper in to Truth and investigate all phenomena ... look at the sense streams deeper. Are they 'real'? look deeper in to Reality.
Let go, Fall, Enjoi the ride. Have fun.
I will get back to you as soon as I get a review and confirmation. Until then, we cannot proceed.

Re: I'm ready to be "liberated"!
Hey Kosmic...
Thanks again for your genuine kindness and genorosity...I think these 2 traits are quite rare. It seems that so many people are just so self absorbed in their thoughts that they cannot give to others, but again this is just a thought! I look forward to getting to know you more in the future. I will continue to hone my perception of the now, and to experience consciousness without thought! I will speak to you again on Monday hopefully if you're here and not working!

Nick :) You are most welcome.
THOUGHTS ARE JUST THOUGHTS. Their content is not TRUTH.
GOOD!but again this is just a thought!
Don't make thoughts your enemy, but remember,I will continue to hone my perception of the now, and to experience consciousness without thought!

Re: I'm ready to be "liberated"!
Nick,
just 3 final questions:
- How would you describe it to somebody who has never heard about this illusion but is curious about it?
- When you say "I" or "Nick", what are you referring to?
- Describe your experience in the hours and days following awakening?
When you get back, we can do a quick review of what we covered, and get down to finishing the process. So far so good.

Re: I'm ready to be "liberated"!
Hey Kosmic!
Well the effects after the experience, I felt incredibly peaceful, and since then I have not been so anxious about the past or the future. I do not feel particularly blissful or did not experience any tears of joy as many others have reported, rather, I feel much more centered and less subject to the vicissitudes of life experience. Interestingly this has also seemed to have a positive effect on others around me as well like my parents because I was able to let go of my "self" and behave differently that induced them to behave differently.
I would say that the illusion is about seeing past your identity called the "self" which is seperate from the rest of the world. You can see this by experiencing a loss of your "self" identity and empirically knowing through a transcendental subjective experience that there is a ubiquity to your consciousness that is one with everything.- How would you describe it to somebody who has never heard about this illusion but is curious about it?
I or Nick would refer to a false but seemingly real collective identity developed through past experiences and genes.- When you say "I" or "Nick", what are you referring to?
Code: Select all
- Describe your experience in the hours and days following awakening?Re: I'm ready to be "liberated"!
Okay Nick...
your back!
We have to re-check certain things alright. Go back and study up on our system of 6 sense streams, and all that Jazz. And let me know when you are ready. We can begin to re-check. CHECKING is important, and your SINCERITY and HONESTY is 110% needed for your Awakening.

Re: I'm ready to be "liberated"!
Ok, I'm assuming I got something wrong or maybe I didnt experience awakening fully which is quite probable...
After the experience my "self" slowly re-invaded my consciousness so it's like I'm in a constant battle with my thought streams now, and sometimes I am not even aware of all the thoughts, but I am ready to dig deeper!

Re: I'm ready to be "liberated"!
Okay Nick. Thank you for being Honest. It will serve you well.
Maybe more feelings are coming up? Just FEEL THEM.
--
Let's do another exercise Nick.
Can you choose a thought Nick? Can you think a thought?
Let's do this.
There are THOUGHTS Nick, and there is Experience. THOUGHTS contain different Content as you realize. Use our system and just check. Are those thoughts arising to anyone or anything? Is anyone thinking them? Or are they just appearing. As in... THINKING is just Happening. CHECK Nick, CHECK. Use our system and Check.Ok, I'm assuming I got something wrong or maybe I didnt experience awakening fully which is quite probable...
