In your own, honest experience, what sees this?
Re: Greatfull for a guide to help
Hi Jeff
"In your own, honest experience, what sees this?"
I don't know
I was going to respondwith " life"conciousness" but I'm not sure so I'll just stick with no f-ing clue
Can't give " it" a definitive label/ word
Love
Mitch

Awesome.
So how is everything going? If you look deeply into painful memories of the past, what is felt? Were you there? Are people guilty of things? Is anything not on automatic? Do *you* exist? what about *me*, do I?
Do you feel a unity with me, or silence, or the trees, or water?
What a strange world!
Love,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
I decided to take some time off from inquiry. I was feeling exhausted by the process. I presently am ready to look again deeply and will respond to your questions late tonight or early Friday morning.

Mitch

Hi Jeff
I've spent thursday trying to observe how chaotic and out of controll everything that is happening in front of me is. Today I will see just how not in controll "I" am, especially since there is no " I"
I haven't set aside enough time to look at the past question so I'll answer that soon-
I'd say the make believe self thinks it sees things, people it recognizes or resonates with- then the thought " I like you" flies by- then a feeling or emotion attaches to that thought

Look instead for the source of the thought that you are going to look.
Where does that come from?
What else is from there?

What else is from there?
Re: Greatfull for a guide to help
Hi Jeff
There is no source, thought just happens - no idea where it comes from-
It is whatever is happening in that moment, as the false sense of self perceives it to be, if not seen as direct experience

Do you feel the shift has occurred?
Let me know. :)

Re: Greatfull for a guide to help
Hello Jeff
I do feel a shifting is occurring , as every moment is an opportunity to have that occur, that is all there is after all There is a deep sense of calm and "at peace" noticed by my false self. Like the saying " all is well". That truth is now noticed.
It is all perfect and exactly how it should be- my friend says that all the time- he has been very pointy also, and I think will continue to be
Getting around language had been perplexing for me- -- just another pile of labels and the labels - me- mine- I are just that, now said without possession
Thank you for helping me LOOK, your time is greatly appreciated
Love
Mitch

Re: Greatfull for a guide to help
Do you have any doubts or confusion at this time?
Re: Greatfull for a guide to help
Hi Jeff,
No, I have no confusion in this moment and no doubt.
I see this experience as a first step,a beginning, as every moment Is.

Re: Greatfull for a guide to help
1) Is there a 'me', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever? How about self, is there anything that is separate from everything else?
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works.
3) How does it feel to see this? describe in detail.
4) How would you describe it to somebody who has never heard about this illusion but is curious about it.
5) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look? was there a specific moment when seeing happened or was it gradual? what exactly happened?
6) Is there an experiencer experiencing, or is there only experience?
Does experience belong to the body, or does the body belong to experience?
