Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
No separate entity/self/me/I can be found, it's existence was thought created and maintained until shedding light on it.
Give in your own words what the illusion of separate self is and how it shows up in experience. Also, through your inquiry, what is different now?
Constant dissatisfaction, need to "improve" things, self, others. Lost in thought-dramas and stories. The main difference is being much more in the present, thoughts lose their grip since seens as mere 'dead' labels for the experience of life.
How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue?
Sometimes it is pure astonishment at what effort is needed to perpetually re-create and maintained the sense of self on a 'personal' and 'collective' level in our culture. Also, a realization that there are no 'fixes' for illusory things...
What was the last bit that pushed you over; made you look?
One evening, I was drinking a fresh ginger-rosemary tea and the sensations have been strongly noticed & observed. Suddenly, a realization dawned that the whole obsession with free-will question is nonsense since there is nothing what could have free will and also many questions are still dropping. SO much "knowledge" is illusory-self centered.
Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work?
There is nobody who would decide, choose, intent, have free will and control. The "decision" is seen only after the "decision" has been made and the thought labelled it as "decision". There is no way thought could "trace" the reason for the given decision "all the way back". What makes things happen and how things work? It's a mystery and it's a huge huge relief to admit and realize that. Thought creates illusory questions based on illusory assumptions.
What are you responsible for? Give examples from your own recent experiences to how this works.
The notion of responsibility is tied to the illusions of "my"-self vs "other"-self, "lower"-self vs "higher"-self, etc.
