Re: I'm ready to be "liberated"!
there is a physical system (the brain, the eyes), that processes the information and relays it to the consciousness. the physical therefore is notihng but a medium to the selfless consciousness.
Re: I'm ready to be "liberated"!
Nick... you are guessing and speculating. Remember the rules - answer from Direct Experience. Remember the model - 5senses + 1mind. Do not Guess. Just Experience.a consciousness that has no self? i dont know really...
Look to your Experience.
Read this please.................again.......... read it slowly, read it mindfully, fully present. If there is noone reading this sentence, then what is doing the reading?

Nick... GOOD...this question is impossible to answer... there is no one....
contemplate this...
In seeing, there is only the seen.
In hearing, there is only the heard.
In feeling, there is only the felt.
In tasting, there is only the tasted.
In smelling, there is only the smelled.
In thinking, there is only thought.
So... on seeing and reading the above...
WHO or WHAT is doing the seeing, and reading?
In the experience of this, right now, who or what is doing the experiencing Nick????
DO NOT GUESS or SPECULATE. Answer from DIRECT EXPERIENCE.

Re: I'm ready to be "liberated"!
Nick... GOOD...
Can you see that the there is only an assumption of a perceiver? of a looker? of a hearer? we take 6 sense streams and combine them, interpret them through thought, and assume there is a separate watcher, awareness, consciousness, self.
Now.. to be sure my friend...
Check again.
pick up an object. Look at it. Is there anyone doing the looking?
listen to a sound. Is there anyone or anyTHING doing the looking?
Check again.
