Re: vince
From going off to sleep last night and waking up this morning, noticing showed nothing unusual.
There was snippets of conversations heard and scenes of things, details of which were forgotten seemingly before they even were finished.
Just like in the normal daily life, noticing was extremely limited.
i will have a 'nana' nap now and see what transpires...
Hmm, same. It's almost as if eavesdropping into another world, but can't hear clearly through the wall, or rather can hear just some sentences clearly and have no context for them.

Re: vince
Don't know if last night, spent most of it in half waking state, was because of looking for something to occur...
Dreamt heaps. Some of the clearest dreams ever.
In one was doing a whole lot of stuff with my brother and at one point explained to him something I had seen but wasn't too sure, saying "I might have been dreaming it". Then not long after woke from that dream.
But don't see any of that as significant, just a bit interesting.
The clarity was the most significant part.
i'll keep looking...

But you seem to have clearly recognised that the dream was as real as now, while you were dreaming. Whilst in that reality, it was the only reality right? Keep watching that, in your so called waking state as well.
The second thing is, are you starting to recognise while dreaming that the whole dream is in fact you? This is the reality of true no self.
Life is like a movie, and there's no you controlling it. You're also not the observer of it. You are actually the movie itself. Keep watching thoughtlesly

Re: vince
James, just an update...
No great realisations have occurred.
The most significant occurrence since last talking (typing) was Yesterday, twice, out of me came an explosion of anger seemingly towards my wife about what i perceived to be her attitude towards, the first time, my brother, and the second time, my mother.
The significant thing was i hadn't thought it to be a big issue with me, and the strength of the explosion, and how quickly it became a non-issue for me (seemed to) as i held no lingering emotion about it.
i also was slightly bemused by my wife's 'sulking' about it. Almost difficult to understand how she could be hurt by my attack....
i see this as unconscious shit coming to the surface and evaporating (sankaras or sankalpas in Buddhist terms) as there appears to be no residue.
i guess conceptually it could be said that there was no I for it to stick to.

By watching thoughtlessly, i just meant to watch what is without thinking about it.
