Just looking back at what i wrote- if nothing is personal, then why am i attaching the truth to "me". it is better said that I want to live from truthI have made a priority to recognize and live my truth. Nothing happening here is personal
Who am I? Help
Re: Who am I? Help
Re: Who am I? Help
Happy to see you back! Yayyyy :)
Does anything EVER exist that is NOT made of Awareness?
3) if You are holy Awareness, and every thought, every perception of anything whatsoever, is made of Awareness, is not You?
Jair, it’s totally fine with me f you can’t answer regularly. I really do sense your sincerity. Perhaps, we could just let each other know in advance that we won’t be back for a while?
For example, my husband and I have to fly at short notice back home to get our booster shots and visit a dying close friend. They will be intense, busy days. I won’t be able to respond to your next message until Monday. Just so you know :)
I hope my rephrasing the question #3 here will be helpful.
To answer it, ask yourself, Am I Aware?, bathe in the answer….and answer question 3 from there….
You are doing very well, indeed.
Until upcoming Monday xxx
Can Awareness be divided up, made less? Is Awareness not infinite? Whether or not perceptions of anything arise in it? Is Awareness not unchanging?Sensations, feelings, thoughts, all arise within my awareness…… I am not sure what they are made of.

OK, let us try it this way: As Awareness, as Being-ness, as Knowing-ness, what, other than yourself (awareness, being-ness, knowing-ness) do you really know about anything other than yourself (Awareness, being-ness, knowing-ness).Sorry Shell but this question is phrased in a way that is a bit confusing.

Re: Who am I? Help
Awareness can't be divided up, or be made less. It just is. i am not sure whether awareness is infinite or not, but it is there whether or not perceptions of anything arise in it.Can Awareness be divided up, made less? Is Awareness not infinite? Whether or not perceptions of anything arise in it? Is Awareness not unchanging?
Im not sure. because i don't know what awareness is made of.Does anything EVER exist that is NOT made of Awareness?
This phrasing didn't make it easier for me as now i am getting caught up in all these different wordings that try to conceptualize the I, and then my mind tries to say, "ok awareness, beingness, knowingness..." and i dont know how to answer whether i know anything other than awareness. because i dont know what awareness is made of.As Awareness, as Being-ness, as Knowing-ness, what, other than yourself (awareness, being-ness, knowing-ness) do you really know about anything other than yourself (Awareness, being-ness, knowing-ness).
Going back to the first way you phrased this question:
This question assumes that i know that every seemingly manifest world is made of awareness. But i do not know what awareness is made of, so i do not know that everything is me. I can only tell you from my direct experience, the sense of me, that i am aware of my direct experience..if You are holy Awareness, and every thought, every seemingly manifest world is made of Awareness, is Everything not You?
Ok sounds good.Perhaps, we could just let each other know in advance that we won’t be back for a while?

On the plane, waiting to leave the gate., dear Jair.
Have maybe two minutes to get a message to you:
Return, always, to the question, “am I aware”. Rest deeply in the answer - your precious direct experience. Not an intellectual answer. It is your direct experience, no matter what thoughts will tell you otherwise.
The carnal mind must be humbled by seeing reality. Only then will you cease to believe all of the sketchy, proud assertions that arise as thoughts with no proof. In truth, you only know what you know right now. You know that you are alive and conscious, knowing this moment; But you don’t know how or why. Inquiring minds may want to know, but any of the answers to questions about ‘how’ or ‘why’ are only unsubstantiated speculations. Your alive/knowing is the only thing you know for sure.....even before any words arise that attempt to describe it. The rest of it is a theoretical creation of the mind. Recognize the one thing you do know and leave the speculation and imagination alone. A hundred dollar bill in your hand is worth far more than any imagined intellectual treasure that you are hankering after. You want answers, I know.....but you will never find them by giving your attention to imaginary ideas. They only muddy the pristine clarity of your pure seeing with hallucinations about things that just aren’t here where you are. Being present and aware is an amazing, mysterious FACT that does not need to be embellished with impotent explanations and beliefs in order to be true. There is no need to make shit up. Recognize what you know and the mind will be humbled and you will lose your taste for sojourning into endless fantasies of speculation and belief. Value what you have first and foremost and then let the chips fall where they may.
Xxx see you Monday xxxx

Re: Who am I? Help
Thank you. When i rest in awareness, i am noticing that sound is happening, seeing is happening, sensations overall are happening. not to me, but are just happening.Return, always, to the question, “am I aware”. Rest deeply in the answer - your precious direct experience. Not an intellectual answer. It is your direct experience, no matter what thoughts will tell you otherwise.
With that said Shell, at this time i will continue with my practice off this forum. Thank you for your help and guidance. I very much appreciate it!
Re: Who am I? Help
Hello dear Jair, I would happily have engaged with you for months or even years.
You have chosen to do otherwise. No hard feelings, I genuinely think it is great, if you follow your own inspiration from your precious direct experience. By this, I certainly mean, DIRECT experience. As helpful as teachings may be, only your own DIRECT experience will EVER satisfy you.
In my direct experience, only indescribable bliss will continue to satisfy me. I wish this for you. It is truly heavenly and utterly divine and holy.
Go well with your continued search….and don’t forget my advice, to ALWAYS ask yourself, Am I aware?
And to bask there, in the Answer.
To ask any question you have, from there.
Everything in the world that comes and goes begins and ends in the knowing of it. Many want answers to life’s perplexing questions; they want to fix their problems and have a better life. There is nothing wrong with that.....but being preoccupied with all the details can make you miss God in this very moment. God is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. All the perplexing questions and problems are a side road to you if you want to know God. God is the conscious knowing in you and that knowing is the beginning and end. If you want to truly know the end from the beginning, you have to put aside all that comes and goes and instead recognize that the knowing in which they come and go is the beginning and the end. You may or may not solve the many dilemmas that life presents......but you can know the beginning and the end. It’s the very essence of you. Don’t let all the details rob you. Tend to them as needed, but don’t lose sight of God, the beginning and the end.
