there is life
mind divides life into concepts. a very useful tool in order to communicate
in direct perception, experience is coded by concepts

to experience the surrounding without the coding feels more alive, vibrant

When looking inside, do you find any self at all? What does that feel like?

Hi !

I cant find the self, its strange cos it feels its there.

When identification with thought creates the sense of a separate self and I try then to find it, I simply cant. All that there is, is movement. But the entity cannot be found. Body, mind, awareness are there (these must be concepts as well then ..) Then the search moves to the one who is trying to see whether there is a self... still no self. It feels like going out of a room through a door that takes you back into the same room.

Everything is just like before, but the self, the belief cannot be found.

This is still dawning on me, as things unfold very gradually in my case.

Hey Tom!

It took a very long time for this to make sense to me also. So no worries about time. ;)

When I went through the gate my guide pushed me through very fast. It took me a long time to wake up to a place that felt permanent.

I cant find the self, its strange cos it feels its there.

A feeling or sense of self will always be there. This sense is a sense of being alive or senses triggered by memories. Is it true?

Yes!

The body is real until it is not. The self happens because of the mind and body. If this sense of self is created by the mind and body, what is it then? Look deeply at this, and let me know what you find. Explain the way it feels also.

Yes, now that Ive read my previous post it is a bit unclear.

So.... There is an alwaysness to being, a sense of being alive. Then there is 'meing' that comes and goes. When this supposed me is looked for, there is no separate entity to contain it. Thoughts quiet down a bit, they might still come and go, but the entity that was so strongly felt a second before cannnot be found.

Being however is always, and has always been.

Body, mind complex create the sense of being. Meing is constructed in the mind.
The sense of alivenss, is hard to describe.
Before there was always an image of "me" being the awareness but now its much harder.
its like, "there just is"

Oh and, I might not be a very fast case :D

all those things are there. now which one of them is me ?

all of them are

They just are

mentally i can draw the line inside outside, but last day and so, it just feels like "there is" ...

How does it feel to see this?

How would you describe it to somebody who is very interested, but has never heard about this illusion.
