Hi Josh
What is the difference between the moment you opened this thread and now?

Re: Josh
Dear Warissem,
Best,
Josh
Before I came to the forum, there was a strong sense of “me” the individual—the doer, the decider. Now there is existence and awareness, but without “me,” “myself,” and “I” screaming for attention. Instead, there is stillness and acceptance, which can be accessed beyond the “me” because there is, in fact, no “me.”\Please elaborate your answers. Write more about what was the condition before you came in this forum and after seeing that there is no you in any shape or form.
Best,
Josh
Re: Josh
Dear Warissem,
Thank you again for all your help.
Best,
Josh
There is only doubt when not looking closely. This insight is yet to be fully integrated into ordinary life.Is there any doubt about the seeing of no separate self. If it is the case, let me know about it.
Thank you again for all your help.
Best,
Josh
Re: Josh
Hi Josh
here are the final questions. Read them carefully and let them sink before giving answers.
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over; made you look?
5) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work? What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
6) Anything to add?
Best wishes

No. There is simply awareness. That is all that’s ever been.1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
The illusion of separate self arises from sensation in the body to which more than merely “sensation” is attributed, which causes a focus on “me” rather than just “sensation.” Or when thoughts become distractions and take on their own narrative.2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
It is liberating to step away from the illusion of a separate self. This was clear even from the beginning of the dialogue, but the demarcation is now clearer. Over the past few days, there has been more sinking in to this understanding, which brings greater lightness-of-being and acceptance of what is going on.3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
Recognizing that I exist without the body and am not my thoughts pushed me over; that the self is nowhere to be found,4) What was the last bit that pushed you over; made you look?
Things happen. There is awareness and thoughts arising in the awareness. Decisions, intentions, etc. are part of the illusion of a separate self, the illusion of free will.... A memory or a sensation provoke action, or provoke a cascade of thoughts and reactions.5) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work? What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
Thank you so much for the help! This has helped foster much greater understanding.6) Anything to add?
Best,
Josh

Hi Josh
My fellow guides want some details about the question number 5 :
5) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work? What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
There is a need to elaborate on decision, intention, free will, choice and control. Give examples from experience for each of them.
Then elaborate on What are you responsible for ?

Re: Josh
Dear Warissem,
Many thanks again.
Best,
Josh
There is no “me” to decide, chose, or control. So there is no decision, intention, free will.... “I” didn’t decide to make the coffee, I’m drinking—the coffee-making happened spontaneously, the same way it has always happened. “I” didn’t chose to write this text—it happened without a “me.”There is a need to elaborate on decision, intention, free will, choice and control. Give examples from experience for each of them.
If there’s no “me,” then how can “I” be responsible for anything? Then elaborate on What are you responsible for ?
Many thanks again.
Best,
Josh

Hi Josh
I have submitted again your answers to other guides for confirmation or further questions.
Your way of writing responses is understood as deductions like "there is no me, then there is no control, no this, no that, ..."
Can you say something about that ?
Best wishes

Re: Josh
Hi Josh
There are other questions from other guides :
Are you saying that there is no person/I that is aware, but rather there is an awareness that is aware of what is happening?
If not, what do you mean exactly by your above comment?
What can a thought do?
What is it exactly that steps away from the illusion of a separate self?
Is there something separate from this understanding, so it can sink into it?
What is this I exactly that is not its thoughts?
Where does a thought end and its awareness starts?
Is there an awareness which is something special, apart from the five senses?
Is awareness something independent of and prior to sense perception?
Decision
Intention
Free will
Responsibility
