the task "find the knower" was the right one - still there is identification ... even though it lessens.

The last days I "did" inqiry even more.

So there is knowing and sensations that "suggest" something like a knower.

A knower cannot be found inside the body. There is no part of the body where a knower lives. And there is no part outside the body where a knower lives.

The sensations of "the knower" are seen/perceived from a "place" that is different from "where" the sensations are - so even they are known.

I always thought that the feelings of a knower etc. have to have vanished to see that there is no me. This thought is perceived as well.

So sensations happen and are seen/known - but I cannot find a me doing that.

Hi Pop,

hm.... this thing "space" does not really exist. There is no location from where seeing happens. Seeing happens for sure but I cannot find a place or space.

There is no really idea how I can "look backwards" (pure mind talking in my head...): when I try to "look backwards" or better: just do it - there is nothing or a blackness.

Yesterday morning there was a short moment when I (?) "surrendered" all perception and there was briefly a blackness in that nothing was.

noticing makes the noticed / notice happen. Noticing happens automatically.

I cannot find a separation. It happens spontaneously.

It is a being in which everything is noticed.

Dear Pop,

a happy, fulfilled, healthy and blessed year to you.

Some days were spent on La Palma - nice and warm. That time was used for inquiry too, which is done on a daily basis, or better: every moment if possible.

So I see: there is no I in the meaning of a self.

- "I" is a word. The word does not constitute a self.
- pictures of a body don´t do as well.
- the different sensations to be felt have no self as well.

A sense of "I" is still there. When looked at it it is just made of sensations. The sensations do not constitute a self. Behind them is nothing.

Presence as well is perceived. That what perceives it has no own qualities - at least I cannot find some.

There was an expectation that "everything" has to change or I have to feel "lighter" or whatever. That all are thoughts being perceived while they rise and subside. What is left is space.

I cannot tell wheather I am "there" - because that is a thought too.

There is more "here-ness".

So there is nobody doing the seing. Seing happens.
