(1) Is there a "me," at all, anywhere, in any way, shape, or form? Was there ever?

(2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts, and how it works.

(3) How does it feel to see this?

(4) How would you describe it to somebody who has never heard about this illusion?

(5) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?

Hi Jeff,
a quick resume before the day ends here...

The whole psychological pattern that I have been until yesterday is fully there, with no one in the middle.
All that comes up - thoughts emotions feelings names songs music - comes from nowhere and ends nowhere.
What seems left is very difficult to describe, a transparency that has an aliveness to it.

The manager seems to have been fired out.

1) There is no me, there is just life showing itself.
In this moment there is typing at you, thoughts coming and going, looking at objects in the room, sounds near by or far away intercepted.
No sense of ownership on any of that at all. Never ever was, the belief of this ownership has simply being exposed.
As the ancients put it "Once seen never unseen".

2)The illusion of separate self is a single thought that is received possibly from parents originally giving us "our" name, keep doing so all the time to call us, and then the sense of separation starts and gets perfectly reinforced by all the rest of organised human life: family , teachers at school, government, religion, priests and the likes.
So this gets a very persistent and core belief at the centre of our being, like a veil, a persistent level of hypnosis, very confirmed by the "other" people that shows the separation as well.
It all never happened in the first place. Nothing ever happened; only the beief was believed.
It seems very true until is PRECISELY exposed. Only one COMPLETE exposure is needed here.

I might guess that for me the illusion of separate self started around 3yo when "I" felt unloved by my parents.
The shape that life started to take for me from that moment had the following core belief: Oh, poor me...
I became a separate "poor me" entity.
So, first a basic separation, then a bit later...that's the color it did take, so to speak.
Survival strategy defence for the poor separate individual called M.

3) Utterly defenceless, at the same time a gentle feeling of sparkling alivess is presenting.
Overall it feels as it always was, but is like watching life unfolding from deep vast space rather than a door keyhole.

4)I would say that what we think we are is not what we are - we are not persons (body mind feelings emotions) but One energy showing itself AS body mind etc...
Once the core belief in separation is seen to be what is, a mere ghost, it simply evaporates; ghosts don't exist as solid entities in the first place, ha ha.

5) Music!
This is funny, because i can see u into music, and i was told from my parents the following: i was barely able to stand up and walk as a kid, but i knew all the records and music in the house, show a peculiar attraction to music.
And then u asked me to listen to my favourite song these days "fully", right?
And it turned to be this one called "Bisogna morire" (We have to Die), what an irony this title (tears in my eyes)
Immediately there was this RECOGNITION of...hearing just happening for no one, no one that could pretend ownership anymore...as apparently listening for the very first time. Not even a special shift, have to say.
I might guess at 2 yo I already knew this!

Ok Jeff, can't select words to express my deepest love and gratitude to you, and as a plus...
I am stunned by your ability in doing what u did with me...huggs huggs huggs (the italian way).

I let several other guides look over our thread, and one of the guides was interested to know more about this idea:

We are not persons (body mind feelings emotions) but One energy showing itself AS body mind etc...

They proposed questions such as:
If you just look, do/can you know what you are? What we are?

How can you describe the qualities of “one energy showing itself", is it personal, or is it just is?

These questions are for your liberation my friend, and nothing else.

Hi Jeff,
there is a field of awareness, thats all there is.
It includes then also what i might call the sense of alivess that shows as this bodymind typing these lines right now.
And then "One energy" is entirely impersonal.

I am a physician in life, my meetings with patients were remarkably similar as few days back, but with one single difference: whatever i said even suggested was coming up from an unknown place, didn't feel any centre.
Quite special (not totally confortable, because memories of "how things should be conveyed for a supposed physician" popped up a couple of times, to disappear entirely).
