Pysähdy. Tutki aistejasi (näkö, kuulo, tunto, maku, haju) yksi kerrallaan ja kirjoita mahdollisimman tarkkaan:
-millaista "raakadataa", millaisia aistimuksia (ilman mielen tulkintoja) kukin aisti puhtaimmillaan välittää?
-onko kyseisen aistin välittämässä informaatiossa jotain sellaista, joka sellaisenaan (ilman ajattelua) kertoo minän olemassaolosta?
Kirjoita jokaisesta aistista erikseen. Tee tämä huolella, kiirettä ei ole. Käytä tutkiskeluun esim. vartti jokaista aistia kohti, syvenny aistimukseen todella ja kirjoita sitten mitä havaitsit.
Tää on englanniks, koska puhuin muistiinpanot englanniks puhelimeen, enkä jaksanut kääntää suomeks. Mutta toivottavasti ymmärrettävässä muodossa.
Seeing
*Eyes have touch sensation, temperature is felt
*Bright things are more irritating than dark things
*Most abstractly, any given view is collection of colors and shapes. Attention can be brought to tiny detail, or to larger area.
*One big scene, messy mess of things
*Eyes closed, it's difficult to say how dark it is, there seems to be a static that's disrupting the relativety of the color. The change in brightness is felt/sensed, however.
*Perhaps unrelevant; I can look into one point, but focus my attention to a completely other point inside my view.
*I can sense the direction I'm looking at, even with eyes closed. Looking at extremities feels uncomfortable/hurts.
Hearing
*Bass is felt in body, chest; higher sounds dont resonate as much
*The seems to be a center when relating to sound direction; I don't even have to label is it left, right, up, down, it is just, there, there.
*When there's not much to be heard, there's still a static, like a detuned radio, hissss.
*Acoustics are heard/felt. At my parents lakeside house, if I listen to the seagulls shreek, even with the noise there's a very distinct silence underneath.
Touching
*Touching seems to mostly happen on contact with new things; the difference to how there was no pressure/touch to this newly felt sensation is felt
*Touching can turn to pain quite stepless; one turns to the other.
*When not touching anything with my fingers, there's a tingling feeling, still. The tingling is felt more in the extremities.
*The feeling of touching something for a long time makes the touching sensation more dull over time. Like in meditation, the feedback you get from touch/pressure becomes practically non-existent.
*Attention can be focused on different parts of body. Generally, the attention is not with the body.
*Extreme temperatures are felt as shock, only the secondary is whether it's reall hot or really cold.
Tasting
*Tasting feels like touching to an extent
*The raw data can feel kind of yucky. Apple juice feels like this slightly slimy liquid with a sour and sweet taste. A sense of freshness, too.
Smelling
*Not much to say here; a bunch of fine flavours mixed up in a puff of air through the nose; inhaled or exhaled.
*There's rarely a focus on smell. If I go outside and the air is fresh, it seems to take focus over other senses.
Breathing
*Involved/intertwined with smelling and tasting. Mostly touch sensations in nose/mouth, however.
