Hi!
It is a bit confusing when we over-think it, but if you just look and look and look again - where is the confusion? What is there to be confused?
That's exactly the point! When I do not over-think it, there is no confusion.
Who or what, in experience, does this noticing?

Is there someone, somewhere in experience, that let thoughts go?
Noticing just happens. And no, there is not anyone who let's thoughts go. They just go when they go.
"I am responsible" - is this an experience or a thought about experience?
I don't know.

Evening hon
That's exactly the point! When I do not over-think it, there is no confusion.
Excellent!
Noticing just happens. And no, there is not anyone who let's thoughts go. They just go when they go.
Thank you, that's clear.
"I am responsible" - is this an experience or a thought about experience?
I don't know.
Maybe you could sit with this one a while. Just look lightly, report back tomorrow.

Goodnight

Good morning Inkeri :)

Another question for you...

You said: "If there is the deep knowing that I do not exist, then there is nothing to control about."

Is it true that there is an "I" that doesn't exist?

Could you look at this please and let me have your report? You are also looking at:

"I am responsible" - is this an experience or a thought about experience?

Much love x

Hey,
Is it true that there is an "I" that doesn't exist?
'I' is just a label. A thought of something seperate. Not true. It does not exist.

"I am responsible" - is this an experience or a thought about experience?
Because 'I' does not exist, I can't be resposible. So it is only a thought about experience.

Much love xx

Good afternoon. Another follow-up question:
Because 'I' does not exist, I can't be responsible
You have seen that the 'I' is made up, and therefore not a real being, but an idea.
Such a fictional 'I' seemed to 'be responsible'.
Can such a fictional 'I' eat cake?
If you are not this fictional 'I', on what grounds do you claim to not be responsible?

Thanks :) xx

Here is my post again from few back. It should clarify the question before.
What am I responsible for? Well.. I have been given this journey of experience. This body for example. I am responsible to take good care of it. And of course my child. Life is happening as before, I have a house that I'm living in, husband and family. Of course I am responsible for the physical part of things in my experience, what have been given to 'me'.

Hiya Inkeri, I hope you are doing ok after today?

There is no hurry to answer these questions, please don't feel at all rushed or pressured. Take as much time as you need ok?

And when you are ready:....
What am I responsible for? Well.. I have been given this journey of experience. This body for example. I am responsible to take good care of it. And of course my child. Life is happening as before, I have a house that I'm living in, husband and family. Of course I am responsible for the physical part of things in my experience, what have been given to 'me'
Thank you for this.

It is really good to keep digging, finding all the corners where the illusion might still be lurking and then shining a light on them, really looking, looking. Look at the quote above. Where does the idea that you are responsible for your body come from? It might well be that good care is taken of it, but is there an "I am" doing that? What do you consider to be the "physical parts of experience"? If you take the "I" out of "your" day, does the day continue regardless? Where is the responsibility? Look again at whether the whole notion of responsibility can even considered to be real.

Can "I" eat cake, or is cake just eaten? Go back to the exercises we did on choice and control and decision making. Look carefully to see if some belief has crept back in that there is someone doing these things.

Go gently honey

Love x

Thank you for this and everything ❤️

Yesterday was really exausting day. Brought back a whole lot of stressful and bad memories. That obviously still affect 'me'.

I will absolutely keep looking those questions and excercises. But now I feel like just resting, so I will get back to you tomorrow.

Big hug and love

Xx

Hi Inkeri, thank you for posting.

If it sits well with you, I would like to go back a few steps. I feel things may have got a big confusing with questions coming in from other guides - good questions, but just maybe not where you are right now.

Would that be ok?

Those of us who live in a mental world have much the hardest time letting go of the idea that there is something more to be understood. There isn't. You understand it all; now you just need to shift focus from thinking to directly experiencing.

There are no words to adequately describe how to see, no maps of how to get there; all I can do is Point to where you should look. This is not a mental exercise; all the thinking you can ever do will never get you there. LOOK, don't think. When you look, it's there, clear as day. What is Looking? It is focusing on your Direct Experience. Seeing with the eyes, hearing with the ears, feeling with the skin, smelling with the nose, tasting with the tongue. Sensation, before it is judged and labelled, this is direct experience.

Tell me how this sounds/feels for you?

Much love xx

Excellent - it's always good to have a plan!

So, today, just spend some time feeling your way through the difference between looking and thinking.

Find a few examples. Let me know how you get on.

I am out all day so won't be posting again until tomorrow. Take your time and relax into this exercise. Sometimes we hold on so tightly that looking and feeling are almost impossible, thought completely takes over. If you are able, sit in nature: your garden or a park or the beach, that would be ideal. Don't think about looking, just look.

Have a great day

Much love xx

Hey,

I noticed today that my mind was running really fast. It was going through the hearing and other things from the past. It was actually surprisingly difficult to be present, here, now. It was until evening when we came from the sauna and sat outside, I kind of woke up from the fuzzy mode and noticed the clouds in the sky. They were like a painting that someone drew there. Still and so peaceful. I could also hear the raindrops falling to the leaves of trees and the wind wishpering there in the same time. It was really beautyful.

So I think I experienced a difference between thinking and looking. In looking there is no-one to look, it just happens and everything is perfect at that exact moment. Wehere ever I pay my attention to. In thinking my presence is not here.

Good night

Hi Inkeri

Thank you for your post.
They were like a painting that someone drew there. Still and so peaceful. I could also hear the raindrops falling to the leaves of trees and the wind wishpering there in the same time. It was really beautyful.
This sounds very beautiful.
So I think I experienced a difference between thinking and looking
Tell me about the "I" in "I think" and the "I" that experienced a difference. Is there still an "I" having experiences?

There is a subtle difference between "I look" and "looking happens". It is the same with all the senses. The language introduces a separation. Language is very tricky, and it is hard to talk about this stuff because language is dualistic!! But that's ok, as long as we are aware of it. So, let it be very clear about what is being experienced and how that is described.

Today, please just keep looking, looking, looking. What is being experienced without the story? What is the raw and direct experience? Don't worry about the story, it runs, thought thinks. Underneath the story, what is happening there? Don't think about what is happening, strip it back a stage further. Just keep looking :)

Have fun, go gently, report back!!

Love xx
