Hi 0kay,
I am not sure which are that 6 last questions, I found ones that Peter asked me that I think they are good.
First I want to tell you that I feel the search is over. And I thank you, Peter, the creators of the forum and all the community for that.
This are the questions Peter asked me and I think it's a good idea to answer them again, because now I saw for real. I know there's no one, nothing, nada. My answers are in red.
:-)
1) Where do thoughts come from?
Thoughts appear or are perceived.
2) Where are they going?
They just disappear or are not perceived anymore
3) Can ‘you’ stop a thought in the middle?
It's not possible to stop a thought.
4) Can an 'I' be found that generates thoughts?
In my experience thoughts are appearing but no one is creating them, there's not a self who creates them, nothing.
5) Does the thinker of the thought appear in experience? Can it be found?
No, there's no thinker of thoughts.
6) Could it be that the 'I' that thinks is also just a thought?
Yes, it is.
7) Is there an 'I' that controls thoughts?
No, there's no I, nothing.
8) Can 'you' choose not to have painful or negative thoughts?
No, there's no "you" who has thoughts.
9) Can you choose what to think?
No, it's not possible, cause no one is there to choose, there's no chooser.
10) Can you choose what not to think?
No, again the "you" doesn't exist.
11) Is it the brain that is thinking the thoughts?
No in my experience. There's no way to know that, and it is not important IMO.
12) Do you think thoughts or do thoughts think you?
Thoughts think me.
13) Is it possible to prevent a thought from appearing?
It's not possible.
14) Is it possible to prevent the thought "I" from appearing?
No, it's not possible.

Good answers, abrakamowse.
Here are the six questions:
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate self is, when it starts and how it works from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
3) How does it feel to see this? What is the difference from before you started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?
5) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work? What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
6) Anything to add?

Re: I am looking for all the help I can to be self-realized.
Hi, 0kay!
:-)
This is how it works in my experience. The body just acts, it does whatever is need to be done. For example, walking. The thought appear that thinks “I am walking” or “I am the walker” and the mind makes the logic and arrives to the conclusion that there’s a separated entity who is walking, when that’s not true. But the illusion is so well crafted that “we” don’t realize about it.
There’s no one seeing, hearing, feeling, there’s just seeing, hearing and feeling without a “seer”.
The big difference is that now it was seen. There’s no ego, no self, nothing. No one is in control of a body, mind or ego. There’s emptiness there that is filled with beliefs that make us think that we are that mix of situations, a body with a mind, experiences, the enviroment, friends, family, etc... that shape an identity, we are happy, sad, intelligent, big, smart, or silly… all those beliefs get caught and they create the illusion of a separated self.
But what is more and more clear as time goes by is that there's nothing done when an action is done, at least not by a separate self. The arms, legs, whatever move but no one is doing nothing, it just happen.
At least in my experience.
I think it was not effort what did it, it was just being more “mindful”, paying more attention to the body. The pointers that you gave me here in the forum were key, because you told me I have to search in my experience and forget about thoughts, feelings, etc. I think it was you 0kay that told me that. So, I began to be more mindful and I could see clearly that walking is done by itself (as I noted before). And now I feel it more frequently, there’s not a thought or anything when I move my hands. I did the exercise with the hands upwards and downwards. And there’s no action of anyone to make the hands move, or anything, it just do whatever it is supposed to do.
Then the ego mind tries to take ownership of the movement and creates the illusion of an entity "doing", a doer that doesn't exist.
:-)
Decision - decision is when we are confronted to different situations and we have to decide which one is best for us. But this is just and illusion, we don’t decide anything. Because there’s no one to decide. And all our acts (we can call them decisions) are not under our control, they just happening in reality.
Intention - This is the way and why we do things, the meaning that we give to the action. The intention is just a thought, so there’s no real intention. Actions are done without judging if the intention is good or bad. That’s what the mind does to give us the illusion of a self with intentions. There’s no self at all.
Free will - This is the idea that we can do whatever we want to do. That we can select some action beforehand, or change our mind and have free will to select different option. But that’s not what happens in experience. There’s no free will, things happens or unfold and the mind tries to make logic out of it creating the idea of a separated self with free will. There’s no separate self, so there’s no free will.
Choice - Choice is the idea or thought that we are “choosing” between several options. So, there is a thought that thinks what will “I” choose?
(Note how the “I” thought arises) , ice cream or cake? And then it seems like we choose cake. But, is the thought real? What is the thought doing if cake is chosen? Nothing, because there’s no choice and thoughts can't do nothing by themselves, just create the self delusion. Whatever it was done, it is as it is. The thoughts make it appear as someone is the chooser, when the chooser doesn’t exist.
Control - Same here with control. We feel that we are in control of our life, our job, our families, everything. But there’s no such control, everything is controlled by what is (reality) and there are thoughts that make appear that we are “controlling” something. There’s no me to control anything, things are just happening without no one in control.
No 0kay, I think it’s done. But if you feel that you or the other guides need to make more questions, it’s Ok.
:-)
Thanks again!!!
Daniel

Really, I didn’t do nothing. Because there’s no I to do anything. That’s the logic conclusion, but it was seen.4) What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look?

Ok,that’s interesting because I never thought about that. So, here it goes.5) Describe decision, intention, free will, choice and control. What makes things happen? How does it work? What are you responsible for? Give examples from experience.
