Hi Chris,
Yes, that sounds good! I may very well be in the 'honeymoon phase'. Everything is fresh, fun, and flowing!
I feel certain that the rope will never look like a snake again! But I'll keep on the lookout for times that I get caught attaching to some thoughts or feelings, or seeing myself get defensive or scared. Or even seeing if the joyfulness I'm experiencing now turns into 'my' joyfulness.
Have a great weekend. We'll check in on Monday!
Jean

Hey Jean,
So how was your weekend? How is everything settling in?
Can you say with a big FAT YES it's clear that the I, aka separate entity, doer, is seen to be an illusion?
How does it feel to answer this way?
Any doubts or questions?
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi Chris,
It was a great weekend. I enjoyed watching life unfold without believing in the concept of 'me'.
Yes, I can say without a doubt there's no me as a separate entity, just a thought stream moving through a body. It's so freeing and liberating.
I'm having fun being mindful of all the verb things that are happening (as opposed to noun things). Sitting, thinking, walking, seeing, hearing, etc. And seeing thoughts of remembering or planning.
I watched as anger arose from a comment my teenage granddaughter said to me, and by the time I turned and walked away, the anger was gone! Nothing holding on to the anger, or thoughts that 'she shouldn't talk to me like that'. Just awareness first of the sensation of hotness and contracting and then simply walking. And of being aware of the gift of everything flowing as it is.
It's really been a pleasure not to be reading or listening to other material about liberation, the dharma, etc. I've been more focused on my own experience, watching for habits, past conditioning, beliefs as they arise. Just moving through the day mindfully paying attention to one thing and then the next thing. Enjoying the people around me and the beauty of the surroundings.
And the interactions with my partner have been so dear. No entangling or resisting. Just loving and caring. I can't remember a time with so much ease.
So please thank the people who started this forum and for the clarity it provides. It's life changing!
And thank you for your time and guidance, Chris. I sense we may be wrapping up and I'm curious as to what's next. Hopefully we can stay in touch!

Wonderful Jean. The verb/noun practice is a wonderful one while continuing to settle in. And it’s also great to hear that you’re sticking with your direct experience of things for the moment and staying away from other material. If/when you feel called to go back and like at various teachings etc., that’s fine too. Remember, this isn’t the end of anything, but rather, a new beginning. It can be interesting to look at sutras, koans, and so on from this fresh perspective. Trust your intuition and in the process unfolding exactly as it should—in both easy times and difficult ones—and all will be well.
So it’s clear to me that you are through and I have no further questions myself. In the spirit of being thorough though, I will ask some other guides to have a look and make sure that everything has been covered and if somebody has a question, I will post it here.
Otherwise, I will be in touch very soon with the next steps and yes, I’d be very happy to stay in touch. I’ll send you a message here on the forum.
More soon.

Good Morning Jean,
I’ve heard from some other guides who read through our thread and everyone agrees that you are good to go.
I think you would make an excellent guide, if you ever feel so inspired. It’s a great way to deepen this seeing and it pushes us to asking new questions, seeing deeper from different perspectives and integrating this into new way of being. If so, let me know and I’ll get you more information.
So, are any burning questions left? What's interesting for you to explore?
Sending much love.

p.s. I've tried to send you a private message twice but it's not showing as having gone through. Can you confirm whether you received it or not when you have a moment please? Thanks Jean!
