Hi Scott,
Another little piece for us to explore together.
"I am responsible for myself by allowing life to appear before me. My only responsibility is to stay in this state of awareness."
Does you see anything that can be responsible?
What if you do not allow life to appear before you, does it get switched off?
Just share what shows up in response.
With kind thanks,
John

Re: Looking for a Guide
There was a longer thought process on this. It's that word thing, what is responsible. Just to explain where the mind went. The question seemed to ask what more could I be responsible for? It was perplexing. My previous answer was a stretch to answer in the first place. I dropped back into the past inquiries, where the question originated. On reading all the questions & responses. There it is was. All my other answers explained the ongoing/ developing of this perceived life was a natural flow . Uncontrollable in all ways. Yet there on "responsibility" I claimed it as mine. I reread the above inquiry & realized, as I say words are tricky sometimes. What the inquiry is, is not what else but, are you sure on that? My answer is I'm responsible for nothing. All my past projected responsibilities are just that . Projections of how it should be in my mind. There are no responsibilities for me. All the things I thought were responsibilities are not. The knowledge that is now a huge part of awareness logically shows I have no responsibilities. All my past thought responsibilities were desires to steer towards the wanted outcome. I'm responsible for myself flows to there is no I, so how could I be responsible for anything. The knowledge that life unfolds as life unfolds pretty well throws out responsibility of any kind.Does you see anything that can be responsible?
Once again, the words I use! "Allow" does not represent there is any allowing of the universe to unfold like there is any control, which I had previously stated there is no control. Allow in all my answers should read ," allow the observation of life unfolding to continue". Allowance is not mine only observing. When a day comes that observing does not exist, which someday will come (death) does it get switches off? Don't know . There are suspicions / thoughts it will continue. I'm not sure if that's true or important to know. What if you do not allow life to appear before you, does it get switched off?
No. This has been a struggle for all these years in many ways, Time has been wasted in over analysis of " The Meaning of Life" or me. There is no meaning. There is no reason to wonder why, what is next, what happens when? Things happen as they happen. life unfolds as it does. There is no reason to wonder or know who I am now or ever. Observation happens. Observation is all that happens. No need to know...........Don't really care right now. For perhaps on an intellectual way this has been a life struggle. trying to find "Scott". There is not one. Never has been, never will be. No place to go upon death. Realizing caring about it is such a waste of this precious observing. Is there a need to know who you are, now or forever?
Thank You
Scott
