LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
By the word “self,” I understand it as a personality. I also understand this word to mean my identity, my body, and so on
What are you looking for at LU?
I want to find understanding of who “I” am. In a book, I found the answer that “I” is a collective image made up of thoughts, actions, and associations. But I still want to experience this personally.
What do you expect from a guided conversation?
I want a deep conversation, filled with questions and answers. I hope to find someone who could help me find a solution to my question. I think that’s it. I might also want to get answers to my additional questions that are not related to the topic of enlightenment. I would just like to have a good conversation partner and a guide
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
I don’t have much experience in this area
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self? 8
