Hi Stacy,

Whew! I thought you were canning me. (No me to can?)

I want to review our "conversations." A way of consolidating my path, and I do have serious short-term memory issues. I believe a review at this point would be helpful. I'll keep up with the conversation too, maybe a bit slower.

Thank you for being here, Stacy.

Take care,

David

That's fine.

Just answer final questions & most likely we'll be finished.

Answer from your present experience now. No review should be necessary.

Much love,

Hi Stacy,

Now I am completely confused. I asked you if what I wrote was correct. What I wrote wasn’t coming from my experience, it was a question. I’m not “there” yet.

Are we done working together?

Take care,

David

I see now.

Because you asked if we're finished, I thought you felt complete. Now I understand.

Yes, reviewing your thread maybe helpful.

We are only finished when you can give a strong resounding, "Yes!" when I ask if you are 100% certain that you find no separate "self" anywhere.

Your replies to the Stream Exercise" are perfect.

Please do the "Nature Exercise" I posted yesterday when you can. Are you able to go outdoors?

Hi Stacy,

I've been doing some "internal research" [thinking] about inside, the me-ness. I notice that I no longer think in terms of a witness. Now the witness is me, inside here. The witness is awareness, a part of me (well, the whole damn thing actually), not something out there seeing in here. It's all there is.

Interesting side note. Outside, in nature, everything is in motion, "alive," while inside, in this room, almost everything is stationary. I never noticed that difference before.
Notice that everything is part of one movement.
Difficult because "mind" wants to divide it up. But when I do for brief moments, it's like I've taken off and I'm flying off the ground.
Then close your eyes and see if there is a line between you and out there, between you and life itself.
No. But with eyes closed everything is "in here," everything isn't "out there."
If yes, where is the boundary?
No edge.
Is there an inside and an outside of Life?
How could there be? No.
Is there something which is not included in the movement of the whole?
Again, how could there be?
Is there a witness that is watching life happening from a distance?
No, but there is awareness, which is sort of inside and outside at the same time, a part of everything and yet separate from everything.
Is witnessing part of the one movement too?
No, witnessing, awareness, IS everything
Is there anything which is not just happening?
Nope.

I hope all is well with you. Thank you for all your help. I'm getting there!

Take care,

David

Hi David,

In my opinion, you *are* there, but still sorting out a few details in your thought stories about it. Just let go and experience. It is very, very simple. Thought stories make it complicated. It is not.
Is witnessing part of the one movement too?
No, witnessing, awareness, IS everything
Isn't this a "yes?" Yes, witnessing is part of the one movement? You seem to contradict yourself.

Much love,
~ Stacy

Hi Stacy.

Still here.

How does someone awake react to interpersonal relationships? I had my first day back at work after the surgery. I was completely different. Awareness was aware of my internal responses and there were many moments of simply being with the people I work with instead of reacting to them, internally and externally. It seems to me that when I am not thinking I am Awake. When I am focused on thoughts, sensations, sights, sounds, etc., there is no center of David, there is just verb-ing.

I continue to review and to be aware of sensations as we have explored them. If you have more challenges I’m ready.

I hope this finds you well. I appreciate the help you have given me and see definite results.

Take care,

David

Yes! Just verbing. That's what awakening is like.

You might enjoy a book I (no, there's no "I" this is used for convenience. ) was part of.

_What's Awakening Really Like? _

https://www.amazon.com/Whats-Awakening- ... 130&sr=8-1

How does someone awake react to interpersonal relationships?
Just about like you described.

Can't see any need for further pointers, really. There are teleconference groups you could attend, even now, for further support. I'll send that separatly.

Can you now say 100% that there is no separate "self" and never has been?

Once you can, I'll send if the "final" questions.

~ Stacy

Hi Stacy. I’m sorry for not writing. I have been struggling with my search. I delayed writing in hopes of “success.” I’m frustrated and disappointed. (But I haven’t quit.) Since you said we had completed the inquiry sections, I wasn’t sure where we stood, and so I delayed contact. I have been reading the books relating to LU but they weren’t as helpful as our work together. What do you suggest I do? Thank you for all your patience and help. David

Hi David,

You wrote:

So there is nothing seen, heard, touched, etc., outside of seeing, hearing, touching, etc.
Then all there is is all happening only within awareness. And there is only awareness.
Yes. That's it.

What are you still searching for?

Hi Stacy.

Ah. So would it be clearer if I had put a question mark at the end? I wrote it knowing it, but not being able to put it all together.

I just read this in the "Read Me First" on the Forum:

"2. Be 100% honest. It is very easy to deceive oneself, especially when it comes to something as subtle as the intimacy of your direct experience. Strive to be completely honest and transparent as to what is actually happening in your experience, this will make the process as smooth as possible."

That nails it.

I EXPERIENCED it in the exercises. But I can't put it all together.

Thank you,

David
Take care,

David
