I could not do anything to make it not look like an absence of color.

So, I guess the self is also like this.

Right, there is nothing that can change the sense we have of an entity

Exercise: Extend right arm with right hand palm up. Flip it over, look at back of hand. Flip over and look at palm. Flip, flip, flip.
