Two of the strongest associations people have is with "body" and "mind". We talk about these things constantly as if they are me or mine: "I hate my body" or "My mind won't shut up" etc.

Mind in my direct experience is what connects the thoughts, sensations and feelings into stories. It creates links between these objects and tells a story about them. These stories could be either taken in a "positive" or in a "negative" way.

The thoughts that appear are talking to the mind that can attach to them a story, a meaning. It can construct many and different stories which could all be so diverse, so versatile. But once seen beyond them, it cannot be unseen.
