When I look (or am posed a question) , I know there is no one home.
But it's still an intellectual knowing.

Well, I'd say it's more like there was seeing and now there is not. I don't sit around believing myself to be this body/mind, there is simply lack of awareness/seeing.

1) I would say a seeing that I am not the body/mind/senses etc, but that everything is within this Awareness.

2) If you mean in general, it is the illusory I. If you mean if you ask me Who am I, I will know it is Awareness.

If the seeing lasts 5 minutes and the rest of the time there is no seeing, that is not liberation. Liberation is the falling away of blinders for good. At least this is my sense of the word.
