Sometimes there are no specific thoughts, only feelings, but most of the time memories are popping up, like places or events associated with particular feeling.

Suprisingly I've done that about an hour before your post.
When I 'welcome' my sensations I feel weakness, sadness and compassion towards myself.
It seems to be one of my new ways to letting go of my buried emotions.
