Anything left to ask?
What even is 'this that wants ___ ' other than resistance itself?
What is the lived experience day to day this week?
:)
Feels like an oscillation of attention between thought, visuals, sensation and then the awareness itself shifting from one to the other. Sometimes ...

Re: Am here to deconstruct my ‘self’
Is there someone continuing a process called “inquiring”?
Ha. It's been arising in experience as if there's a need to reference your pointers/remember to look for the hearer or the see-er. But guess that's just happening of it's own accord.
Is there anything here that is not simply what is ...

Re: Am here to deconstruct my ‘self’
Yeah, I guess there's still part of me was still questioning this through mind.
Can you find an EXPERIENCER of sound happening, sensations happening, seeing happening?
No. I've been inquiring on this for a few days since your reply and it seems there isn't anywhere where there's an actual ...

Re: Am here to deconstruct my ‘self’
Can you find any location where an experiencer exists?
No, it seems like these inputs do just arise out of no where. However, it's baffling how we have our own sense of location. Like if there's a sound of a river nearby and I follow the sound, as 'I' the body get's closer to the river the ...

Re: Am here to deconstruct my ‘self’
Hey Becca sorry for the wait, have been looking at these pointers for a couple days now.
is there even someone looking that can't do the finding?
haha yeah good pointer.
Was there ever?
No, but part of me feels weird for saying it, as if I've only just picked up a belief system that now ...

Re: Am here to deconstruct my ‘self’
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
No. I can't find a separate experiencer in 'myself' or in 'others'. If there's anywhere it's 'experienced' it's only as a thought.
2) Explain in detail what the illusion of separate ...

Re: Am here to deconstruct my ‘self’
Direct experience, what is actually happening, is always handy. As is pointing towards being able to predict or control thoughts
True, I've also noticed a lot of deep conversations around these inquiries have arisen naturally and spontaneously with friends and colleagues recently and have felt ...

Re: Am here to deconstruct my ‘self’
Thanks
I am here, pointing, but feel little to no responsibility for anyone getting anything at any particular point in time…
Each person comes with a different level of drive and attachments, and I work from the end that already exists, assuming what is already the case and pointing from there ...

Re: Am here to deconstruct my ‘self’
Hey been meaning to come on here but kept forgetting. Things have definitely been slowing down. There's less tension and feeling like a slave to the clock, with the manager taking a back seat and being content with just doing the dishes without thinking of 101 things to do next.
The tendency to ...

Re: Am here to deconstruct my ‘self’
If the latter then for example no one could be there to take ownership of conflicted, it was always an appearance.
Yeah. So simple yet so profound.
Is ‘conflicted’ two different thoughts arising?
Are beliefs a thought plus another believing thought?
Yeah it must be. The same with mind ...

Re: Am here to deconstruct my ‘self’
“having beliefs” and “being free of beliefs” are just ideas? stories laid over the rawness of what’s here?
Good point. Just more conceptualisation.
Is there someone here who can choose anything? Who could be attached or unattached?
It can feel like 'I'm' conflicted in these situations ...

Re: Am here to deconstruct my ‘self’
Hi there
Apologies for the absence, back now!
If you were to repeat a few times “there is no separate self at all, never has been, never will be”
what is noticed? In the body, in thought, viscerally, experientially?
I've felt into this a few times over the week and what it feels like varies ...

Re: Am here to deconstruct my ‘self’
Been doing it throughout the last few days and gotta say there's only a realization after the initial 'I' thought comes up, but 'I' guess that's what I'm supposed to do -- see 'I' just did it then, and again haha!

Re: Am here to deconstruct my ‘self’
Being totally honest I spoke with 'I' and 'me' throughout the whole day so automatically, but did notice when it was after the words had come out.
Yet what was noticed that there was some conversations that were just not flowing. Like for example when there was a joke a colleague made about 'me ...
