Re: Seeking a guide
For the sake of the intensity of the inquiry let’s try to stick to a daily conversation. Of course, life happens, so if you need more time, please let me know. I will do so as well.
Nice to meet you, David. I really appreciate your willingness to work with me on this. I hope that in the future, I ...

Re: Kernels
Hi Rali,
I was just making a point that not the thought initiates the “action” ;).
I was making the point that you were replacing one belief about a beginning with another. I agree that neither the thought nor the seeing initiates the action. So we can move on.
BUT NOW, how exactly does the ...

Hi Rali,
Can a thought choose or just describes what is happening? Can a thought feel, or see? You say thought initiates it, but if you think about it, the action started when you actually saw what was written (seeing), then you interpreted it (thinking/labelling), then further description of what ...

Hi Rali, I'm happy to see your post!
I hope all is clear now, but please let me know if there is still some unclarity, so we can understand each other :))! Maybe you can reread the last replies with that context in mind?
Yes, what you wrote is clear now. I re-read the last replies, too.
That ...

Re: Kernels
Thanks, Rali. I'm back home with my new computer, satisfied that my father's health has improved and I just re-read our posts.
I like what you wrote in your last complete post and agree with it. I enjoyed the two YouTube linked videos and found that helpful. Did I overlook any questions from my ...

Re: Kernels
Hi Rali, I glanced at your responses. There was a an improved invitation to deepen more authentically. (I can be hyper-sensitive to authenticity issues.) Please give me until at least tomorrow evening (Pacific Coast Time) to attempt to reply and assess. I fly out to see dad soon (arriving at 4 am ...

Hi Rali,
Thank you so much for your engagement! I’ve found this process fruitful! It occurs to me we’re having a crisis of communication (and possibly trust?). I’m honestly not sure how to proceed. I’ve been relentless in my looking, taking it on in every aspect of my waking hours. I don’t view ...

Hi Rali,
Now, what is «radiance» in DE (think cup of coffee example)? It is a sensation (feeling) right?
When I think cup of coffee, a succession of images arises (thinking + seeing); a flavor (thinking + tasting); thinking + touching the cup; a desirefor coffee arises (thinking); thought after ...

Re: Kernels
Hi Rali,
Something shifted on this one. Thanks again.
Now, what is «resting in a center » in DE (think cup of coffee example)? It is another sensation (feeling) right?
Yes, it's just a sensation (sensing).
What is “openness”? It is another more subtle sensation, right?
It's a more subtle ...

Hi Rali,
Thank you. I’ll put a daily exercise at the end.
1. Take something cold from the fridge – like a can of cooldrink. When you touch the can, what does more accurately describe your experience:
a. Your fingers feeling cold because of touching a cold can; or
b. Coldness - sensation labelled ...

Hi Rali,
Thanks so much for the reply questions!
What is “intention” and how is it really experienced in DE?
It’s a label, nothing more than a pressure (sensation), existing alongside a label (« this pressure is intention »). I settled on that since the pressure exists in the body before the ...

Hi Rali,
I'm super grateful of your volunteering to do this for me! I hope you're well!
In that moment is there anyone or anything which recognises the thought or is being aware of it?
No thoughts appear like energy bursts out of no where and disappear just as quickly. They are part of the ...

Re: Kernels
Hi Rali,
You said at the end as usual take your time with this. I may have taken you literally.
So what is awareness then?
To recap, we began this line of inquiry with focus. I answered it feels layered on (or less direct experientially) than awareness. Now having looked at awareness for a ...

Hi Rali,
Yes we agreed on a daily conversation. We moved a friend over the weekend. Also, my partner returned from his trip and is using our only labtop. I will adapt around his use of it and respond tonight. Unfortunately the website doesn't work well on my iphone.
Thanks.
Robert
