Re: Nothing is divine
Hi Kento :)
Not that I can think of. It's all clear.
I'd be interested in eventually guiding others as well (Apart from English, I also speak German in case there is some demand). Is there anywhere to go from here forum/community-wise?
Thank you so much for your time!
Best wishes,
Luka

Hi Kento :)
Noticing notices, it is happening without a someone or something-a separate "me"-to notice.
Kind regards,
Luka

Hi Kento :)
There is nothing that notices. Noticing arises without anyone noticing.
Warm regards,
Luka

Nothing perceives, it's perceiving happening without an entity to perceive.

Hi Kento :)
Ok, I see what you mean.
Well, the plant is in my perception.

Alright, without perception the plant doesn't exist for me, so perception allows the plant to be perceived.
Warmly,
Luka

Re: Nothing is divine
Hi Kento :)
So, I looked at a plant in my room, and there is no relationship between the plant and perception because there is no division that can be drawn.
Warmly,
Luka

Re: Nothing is divine
Hi Kento :)
So my initial thought process would be to say senses are what apparently makes perception possible, however, there is no real difference between them. Whenever I pay attention to the senses, I am perceiving my senses, so it seems like a loop really. But even "senses" is just a thought ...

Re: Nothing is divine
Hi Kento :)
Ok, got it.
So when I perceive something through my senses, like seeing a bird, for instance, a thought arises that says "that's a beautiful bird." and with this thought, an emotion may arise, like gratitude. Sometimes it seems to be the other way around, meaning an emotion occurs as ...

Well, how or from where they appear I don't know. What I know is that they appear and disappear without an 'I' or 'me' making them appear or disappear.
Kind regards,

Re: Nothing is divine
Hi Kento :)
By "mind," I mean thoughts and other "mental" content. So it's not an actual thing called mind I'm talking about, but rather the whole bag of thoughts and emotions.
Warm wishes,
Luka

Re: Nothing is divine
Hi Kento, :)
Took me some time to write down the answers but here we go:
1) No, there is and never was a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form.
What there is, is the 'I' thought and other mental content in conjunction with the appearance of ownership that ...

Re: Nothing is divine
Hi Kento :)
So, I sat with this for a while.
And yes, I'm crystal clear about my finding, or rather I don't know how much clearer it could get.
There is nothing I could point to that seems like a hurdle or something that needs to be seen through, yet, I feel like there is more potential depth to ...
