For instance, I'm not comfortable saying that the fact that I can't imagine a time in the past or future in which the sense of being isn't present means the sense of being isn't bound by time. Rather...

Re: Forever frustrated and still seeking

What is noticed by the noticing, i.e. everything else that exists, would not be the one infinite thing, because everything else is temporary and limited. Thoughts, sensations, etc all come and go, so they're not eternal/infinite.

Re: Forever frustrated and still seeking

If we were to make a list of all the "things" that are both eternal and infinite, would you reckon that list would be a long one or a short one? It seems like it would be a very short list. How many things do you think would be on the list? Other than this pure noticing/awareness, I can't think of ...

Re: Forever frustrated and still seeking

Apologies for the delay in response, been quite under the weather the last few days. No worries, hope you're doing better. Re: Forever frustrated and still seeking

Your body comes and goes and changes. The thing noticing all of this stuff happen does not. All is change. Except the noticing of it. Yes, I can see this. Thanks for your patience during all my extra looking. Because all my instruments of noticing (and instruments for processing what is noticed) ar...

Re: Forever frustrated and still seeking

what notices the body?
What notices the body is what notices everything else. Whatever it is is noticing it right now, seeing part of it and feeling sensations in/on part of it.
