Kay,
Thank you so much for guiding me through this. Going through the process is much different than reading the transcripts and trying to get it vicariously through another's experience.
Love,
Todd

Re: Getting to the heart of things
Kay,
1) Is there a separate entity 'self', 'me' 'I', at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form?
Was there ever?
No, there's never been a separate self. As far as an idea of 'self', 'me', or 'I' as a separate entity is concerned, these things only exist as thoughts. It can't be any other way ...

Things have been unexpectedly busy, every day I expect to answer the questions and then I never have time. I plan on answering very soon.
Thanks for your patience.

Kay,
What is the memory ‘made of’?
Memories are made of thoughts of actual experiences of the senses.
WHEN does the memory appear?
The memory appears right now.
What is the exact difference between a ‘general’ thought and a ‘memory’ thought?

Re: Getting to the heart of things
Kay,
But is there an experience that the ’now’ is moving along the line of time?
No. The only experience is that of right now. Any ideas about the experience of now in the future or past version of 'now' are only thoughts.
Any experience of one ‘moment’ giving way to the next?

Kay,
Can it be known how tall the body is?
No. The body is not known, it is a thought.
Does the body have a weight or volume?

Re: Getting to the heart of things
Kay,
Do you have any questions in relation to anything we have looked at so far?
No
How is the movement controlled?
I can not determine a controller.
Does a thought control it?
No. The hand turns without a thought.
Can a ‘controller’ of any description be located?
No

Re: Getting to the heart of things
Sound is heard or there is simply sound?
There's just sound.
What exactly is doing the hearing?
Nothing.
1. Going just by the tick tock sound, do you find a clock present?
No
2. Is there any direct/actual experience of a clock in the sound?
No

What did you find/notice this time when you read it again?
I just looked instead of adding a story to the experience.
What I was asking is where does thought end and the knowing of it begin?

Re: Getting to the heart of things
What exactly is having a thought? Describe this thing/entity to me in precise details and where they are located. And what exactly is experiencing a thought?
The thought is just there. There's no thing/entity. Experiencing the thought is the same as the thought itself.

Re: Getting to the heart of things
So the AE of a doughnut is thought, as a doughnut is not known. What is actually known is AE colour which thought points to and labels as a doughnut.
Is this clear?
Yes
Now, go open your front door like it is in this picture and have a look. Is the open door actually taking up ‘space’?
No ...

I am not interested “from the standpoint of the doughnut”! Where is the LOOKING? Did you even LOOK at this carefully and break it down into AE?

Re: Getting to the heart of things
Here is a picture of a doughnut. Now thought says that there is some doughnut missing, and that there is a ‘hole’ in the middle. Thought says the hole is empty and the doughnut is some ‘thing tangible

Not from the standpoint that a doughnut 'is what it is'. The ...
