No there is just Seeing,Hearing,Smelling,Tasting, Feeling, BEING ...

Is there a manager/controller or any other sign of a separate self anywhere in real direct experience?
No there's not
Was there ever?

It´s a sensation of the body but words don´t do it justice. It´s something noticed outside of the normal in this body experience.
