Dearest May,
You are the most precious gift that I have received through LU, Liberation Unleashed!
Tears of joy are streaming down my face as I write these words now...it's as if Grace has miraculously, suddenly and abruptly, entered and blessed my Life, the One Life, that is living me...that is uttering or speaking and writing these words!!
I cannot thank you enough May! I was ignorant and blind but now I see...if not for your clear, precise, powerful and penetrating pointers the veil of the illusory and imagined separate self would not have been lifted. At this point, I can only use words to express my deepest gratitude to you but the vast silence that is my nature is singing, dancing and rejoicing. :) :) :)
"What you describe, this transparent, timeless openness where thoughts, sensations and feelings just come and go, is exactly what I’ve been pointing to."
A. Yes May I see this clearly now. It is always timelessly this way....the transparent openness in which the movement of perception, sensations, feelings and thoughts just come and go, arise and subside, for no rhyme or reason and without meaning or purpose. And there is no one, no separate edifice or self called I or me, or a mental idol called God, running the show. No owner and doer of experience....but experience just happens like waves arising in the ocean.
And now, I’d like you to look at something very simple.
Q. Is there any need at all to do anything with this?
A. There is no need or desire to do anything with this. Nothing needs to be done. No claiming, resisting or fixing, no pushing or pulling, no accepting or rejecting.
Q. Any need to hold on to these insights or make them last?
A. There is no need to hold on to anything at all including these insights or make them last as there isn't anyone or anybody here to claim ownership or doership over them. If insights appear, they appear in the freshness and transparency of this moment, this openness, which is ever fresh and ever new and not in time.
Q. Or is this openness already complete, whether or not a thought appears that says I get it, I lost it, or I must deepen this?
A. This moment, this transparent openness, is timelessly whole and complete. Nothing can be added or subtracted from it. No gain, no loss. It is totally independent of all movement, all mentation and all thought that says, "I get it, I lost it, or I must deepen it, I am not there yet, I am not awake yet, I am not enlightened yet, I am not enough as I am, I am suffering, etc, etc, etc" These thoughts or beliefs are the conceptual or imagined reality of a nonexistant separate me or I, of the separate self, of the separate owner and doer of experience.
Q. When you check right here, do you see that even the thought I need to do more is just another appearance in this same space, empty of any owner?
A. Yes indeed. I see the thought "I need to do more as I am not whole and complete yet, I am not enough yet" as another appearence or happening in this open, transparent space, empty of any owner or doer. The owner and doer of any thought, feeling, sensation, perception, or of any experience whatsoever is simply just another thought or mentation appearing in the emptiness.
"Nothing to do.
Nothing to become.
Nothing to figure out.
Just this as it is, no one separate from it."
Yes and Hallelujah! :) :)
"And you’ll notice that life keeps moving on its own.
The thoughts and sensations will dance, come and go.
And they don’t require a someone to manage them."
Yes and Hallelujah! :) :)
"Take some time to simply rest in this.
Let yourself enjoy this total simplicity."
Your invitation is accepted sincerely and wholeheartedly May. I am taking time now to simply rest in this open, empty, wordless and timeless simplicity.
With all of my LOVE and deepest GRATITUDE,
I remain,
Amrit🙏💐🪻💜🙂

Hi May,
I may have inadvertently replied to your last email twice as I could not see my first reply on the LU email system for some reason. In case you see two replies, they are exactly the same! Just thought I let you know.
I apologise for any inconvenience caused.
With gratitude,

Re: No self
Amrit,
Your heartfelt message moved me deeply. Thank you for sharing your joy and gratitude so openly.
You’ve seen it, this open, timeless simplicity in which all experiences come and go on their own. Nothing to do, nothing to become, nothing to hold on to.
And it will be like this even when thoughts, emotions, or daily life seem noisy.
That openness is already here, welcoming everything, silence or chaos, comfort or discomfort, just the play of life unfolding, with no one at the center pulling the strings.
As you move forward, simply allow this understanding to live itself.
No need to chase any particular state.
No need to measure or compare.
Just this freshness, moment by moment.
And whenever the thought arises that “something is missing,” or “I need to do more,” you already know to look, and see that thought is just one more appearance in this boundless space.
Here at LU we often end with a few final questions, a kind of check‑point that can help deepen what’s already been seen. They’re not a test or anything like that. It’s more of an opportunity to put into words what you recognize, so it can settle even further.
Whenever you feel ready, take your time and respond honestly to these:
1- Is there a separate entity — a ‘self,’ ‘me,’ or ‘I’ — at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
2 - Explain in detail what the illusion of a separate self is, when it begins and how it works, from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
3 - How does it feel to see this? What’s different from before we started this dialogue? Please report from the past few days.
4 - What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look clearly?
a) Please describe decision and give examples from your experience.
b) Please describe intention and give examples from your experience.
c) Please describe free will and give examples from your experience.
d) Please describe choice and give examples from your experience.
e) Please describe control and give examples from your experience.
5 - What makes things happen? How does it work?
6 - What are you responsible for? Give examples from your experience.
Anything to add?
Take all the time you need to look into these, and remember, this is not an exam. It’s simply an invitation to speak directly from what you see, here and now.
I’ll be here whenever you’re ready.

Re: No self
Dear May,
As you have pointed to so consistently and one pointedly throughout our inquiry together, it is only essential to LOOK or SEE clearly and not move into thought or the thinking mind.
I now see that there is no one, no identity, no entity or person called 'I' or 'me' at the center of experience. What I initially thought to be a solid person, a 'I' or 'me', a someone or somebody is actually and factually nonexistant in reality! The separate identity never was, never existed at all except in and through identification with thought.
Now life just unfolds and moves as sights, sounds, feelings, sensations and thoughts appearing together spontaneously or automatically without an owner or doer or thinker. All happens by itself or of its own accord.
I will respond to the questions with honesty May, and always with the imperative of looking at my immediate or direct experience. I have already started on the questions you put forward and will revert back to you.
Please know that I am deeply grateful to you for all the guidance and clarity you have offered so warmly, graciously and generously to me.
And I would love to keep in touch with you if that's okay with you.
With love and gratitude,
Amrit🙏💐🙂🌷🪻

Re: No self
Hi May,
Warmest greetings to you!
1 - ls there a separate entity - a 'self, 'me' or 'I' - at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
A.There is NO separate entity or center - a 'self, 'me', or 'I' - at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form. It never ever existed in the first place, or rather is non-existant.
2 - Explain in detail what the illusion of a separate self is, when it begins and how it works, from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.
A. A separate self seemingly arises when there is identification with the content of experience, namely perceptions, thoughts, feelings or emotions and sensations. It begins when an I- thought or I-concept separates itself from life, or the whole, and claims ownership and doership over all that is happening or appearing or arising in experience namely sense perceptions, thoughts, feeling or emotions and sensations.
The separate self believes deeply that it is a solid and real person or personality, a somebody or someone, at the very center of all experience. lt mistakenly or erroneously perceives itself as THE mover, shaker, owner, doer, thinker and controller of all that is happening around it, which is life itself. It is obsessed with controlling life since it sees itself as separate from everything and everyone, the world and universe included.
It has a subject-object relationship with life or existence believing "I am in here somewhere as a mind and body and everything else (i.e. life, world, universe) is outside of my finite mind and body experience."
3 - How does it feel to see this? What's different from before we started this dialogue? P|ease report from the past few days.
A. It feels freeing or liberating to see that the illusory or imagined separate self never ever existed. It feels as if I have been freed from the prison of my own conceptual mind where I lived totally identified with the content of experience i.e. my very limited sense perceptions, thoughts, feelings and sensations and the subject-object experience of a separate egoic identity.
What's different now is the fact that I clearly see that there is no one at the center of experience pulling the strings or running the show or steering the mindbody organism. There is just experiencing with no experiencer. There is just experience, a seamless and boundless flow or movement of experience happening or arising of its own accord, on its own, by itself. Perceptions, thoughts, feelings/emotions and sensations are free to arise as they do in an open, transparent, ever fresh and new or timeless space that is empty of an owner, doer, claimer, resistor, fixer or thinker! What freedom..endless and fathomless!! :) :) :)
4 - What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look clearly?
A. I realised that my intense suffering was all self created. That I was heavily identified with being a separate identity. And the reality or actuality or fact of seeing that there never was a separate identity here in the first place...that it is or was all imagined.
I shall revert back to you with honest answers to Questions 4a - decision, 4b - intention, 4c - free will, 4d - choice, and 4e - control....i need a little more time with these questions if you dont mind.
5 - What makes things happen? How does it work?
A. Life itself makes things happen. Life unfolds and it is always wholly whole, complete and timeless in this moment...already! Things appear or manifest out of this unmanifest life, the whole, and dissolve back into it. Things happen or unfold spontaneously, naturally, automatically and there is order and perfection in it even though things may appear imperfect or chaotic or messy. There is no effort at all in the unfolding of life and things or experiences or situations.
I shall revert back to you on Question 6 as I need a little more time to look. Again, I hope you dont mind.
Your guidance and suggestions are always welcome here, dear May.
With deep gratitude,
Amrit

Re: No self
Hey Amrit, how are you doing right now?
Don’t worry at all, take the time you need. Time is just a measurement, it doesn’t really matter.. lol.
But please, when you finish all the questions, send everything together (all questions and all answers) in a single post, okay?
Thank you!

Re: No self
Hello May,
Thank you for your most recent message.
It seems that our ongoing inquiry together with your guidance is now ending as per your words, "Here at LU we often end with a few final questions."
Just this openness here now....open to all that may or may not arise in it. There is a relaxed alertness here in which direct or actual experience is happening or appearing on its own and by itself....sense perceptions, thoughts, feelings and sensations...without an identity called I or me at its center. So DE or AE is free to arise in whatever form or shape in this timeless NOW, this eternal moment.
I have endeavoured to answer all the questions in one single post as per your instruction. And, as always, I am very appreciative and grateful for any guidance and feedback from your end.
Yes indeed, I agree that time is just another measurement or movement, another mentation, as you say, in this vast openness or spaciousness.
Here below are the answers:
1 - ls there a separate entity - a 'self, 'me' or 'I' - at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form? Was there ever?
A.There is NO separate entity or center - a 'self, 'me', or 'I' - at all, anywhere, in any way, shape or form. It never ever existed in the first place, or rather is non-existant.
2 - Explain in detail what the illusion of a separate self is, when it begins and how it works, from your own experience. Describe it fully as you see it now.

It begins when an I- thought or I-concept separates itself from life, or the whole, and claims ownership and doership over all that is happening or appearing or arising in experience namely sense perceptions, thoughts, feeling or emotions and sensations.

4 - What was the last bit that pushed you over, made you look clearly?
A. I realised that my intense suffering was all self created. That I was heavily identified with being a separate identity. And the reality or actuality or fact of seeing that there never was a separate identity here in the first place...that it is or was all imagined.
4a) Please describe decision and give examples from your experience.
A. Decision means settling on a particular course of action after eliminating other possibilities. There isn't a personal independent entity 'I' or 'me' or person here who makes decisions. But decisions arise or happen automatically or spontaneously out of the depth, freshness and newness of this moment. It is one undivided movement, one inseparable seamless flow out of which a decision comes from wholeness or totality. Like making the decision to offer an old family friend and her daughter a ride to the airport rather than them paying for a cab ride to the airport. Like making the decision presently to cut costs and downsize in moving my place of accomodation to a smaller, cheaper and more economical alternative.
4b) Please describe intention and give examples from your experience.
A. Intention implies a center, a separate individual self having a motive or desire to do something in order to attain an expected outcome. Does the Sun have any intention to shine? Does the flower have any intention to blossom? A seed sprouting? What about a breeze or a sound? It's simply nature or totality doing its thing, singing its song, dancing to its own rhythm. There is no solid or real human/personal, celestial or spiritual/divine entity intending anything! It's simply the whole, totality moving aimlessly, purposelessly, unintentionally for no one and no thing. Things or situations or events unfold or happen as expressions of the whole. Like having the 'intention' to save myself in a traffic accident many years ago. It was so sudden and instantaneous that I had no time to think in order to evade the accident. In other words, there was no thinker, no doer and no time for thought! Actionless action...it just happened out of the present moment, in the moment, one seamless effortless flow, one happening.
4c) Please describe free will and give examples from your experience.
A. The river of life moves as one inseparable whole, timelessly. Does a baby really have the free will to be born? Or an adult have free will when death knocks on the door? Only a separate individual lives in the illusion of having and owning and claiming free will. There is no such thing as free will. Do I need free will to talk? To walk? To defecate? To breathe? To sing? To cry? These life processess are just happening, it's nature or life doing its thing...pure unfolding, pure experiencing without a need for a someone or somebody to claim and own another concept called 'free will'.
4d) Please describe choice and give examples from your experience?
A. When life moves unimpeded through the mindbody organism (free of expectation or outcome which are the conditioned patterns of a separate individual self), it simply knows what to do in any given situation or circumstance. It could me misconstrued or misunderstood that there is a person here or a personal sense of agency choosing...but this is a misinterpretation of what is actually happening! Without the illusory resistor that is the personal sense of agency which gets in the way of what is, life flows freely through and as the mindbody organism. And this one singular undivided, seamless movement of life 'chooses choicelessly, so to speak. Like when I am mountain biking in nature, there seems to be a natural flow where the bike and me are one and we are in this natural flow state, one movement, one energy....we are in the zone...there does not seem to be a separate individual chooser or choice operating...choosing to turn here or there...fast or slow, up or down...everything is just happening spontaneously in this oceanic and undivided flow or movement of energy called life. Very hard to put into words....but I hope you get my drift! :)
4e) Please describe control and give examples from your experience.
A. To have power, command, authority or influence over life, and people or situations within it. This implies a personal controller over life...who lords it over life! There is no such thing as a separate me and life. There is only life and the me is only an illusory idea or thought or concept in the mind. I simply have no control over what is going to happen or appear in the present moment. It could be pleasant or unpleasant, desirable or undesirable, it could be a calamity irrespective of whether it's natural or man made. I have absolutely no control over my date of birth and my date of death and everything in between those two dates that is commonly called life!
6 - What are you responsible for? Give examples from your experience.
A. Since there is no personal identity here at the center of experience or life, it simply unfolds or moves by itself, of its own accord, on its own. So there isn't anyone here, as a separate self or individual, to be responsible for how experience or life flows or unfolds or arises. Thoughts just happen, feelings and emotions just happen, sensations just happen and perception just happens automatically. Calamities happen, challenges happen, adversity happens but these are understood to not be apart or separate from this movement that is called life. All is one. And all is equal. Nothing is seen as separate from life or the totality. So daily living happens, bills happen, mortgages happen, joy happens, grief or sorrow happens, birth and death happen, achievements and failures happen, victories and defeats happen, actions and consequences happen....all these experiences are welcomed and not resisted in any way as they are expressions of life, totality, the whole of the whole! They are given attention and attended to without expectation and attachment to outcome....to the best of one's capacity and ability.
One always remains as the clear, transparent and timeless openness in which the play or movement or duality of phenomenal existence arises and falls. The openness and the play are not two but one. No separation. Period. No one here claiming acceptance or rejection of life as there is only life...total, whole and complete eternally or timelessly no matter what is unfolding or appearing.
Anything to add? Just deep gratitude for LU and for you, May. A blessing indeed.
Sometimes it happens that this transparent openness is obscured or covered up by self investment in the content of experience...but this overlooking is more and more limited now to shorter durations or periods.
I look forward to hearing from you.
With gratitude and love,
Amrit

It could me misconstrued or misunderstood that there is a person here or a personal sense of agency choosing...but this is a misinterpretation of what is actually happening! Re: No self
Namaste May,
How are you?
It's winter in the southern hemisphere 'over there' in Brazil while I am 'over here' near the equator in Singapore. :) :) The sentence and words alone sound funny and strange now! Made up storylines (by convention) which only seemingly exist in horizontal time for practical living! And nothing wrong or right, good or bad, moral or immoral about it. It's what's unfolding or happening or moving......:) :)
Are you based in Rio De Janeiro, Sao Paolo, Brasilia?
I look forward to hearing from you after these 'last questions.'🫡
And yes, I recall, as you rightly pointed out, time is just another measurement....and I have enjoyed this process of inquiry with you...what an EYE opener 👁👁👁 and shattering revelation! :)
With sincere gratitude,
Amrit💝💜🙂🙏💜

Re: No self
Hello my dear! how are you right NOW?
I’m based in the northeast region of Brazil, where I have easy access to both mountains and beaches, I love being close to the sea! Because this area is so close to the Equator, the climate doesn’t really follow the four distinct seasons like in other parts of the world. It stays warm most of the year, and the ocean waters are always beautifully warm, perfect for a swim anytime. :)
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer each question with such openness and honesty. It’s clear that what is being seen here is very clear: there is no separate center, no solid ‘I’ or ‘me’ pulling the strings, just life unfolding, just experience happening freely in this timeless openness.
It’s beautiful how you describe the sense of freedom and relief of no longer living as if trapped inside a conceptual identity. It’s also honest and mature that you acknowledge how sometimes this openness may be temporarily overlooked, and yet even this is part of the same seamless flow of life. There is nothing to hold onto and nothing to maintain, just noticing whenever identification tries to creep back in, and that noticing is enough.
I’d also like to let you know that I’ll be sharing your responses with other guides, not as a test or any sort of approval process, but simply as an opportunity to see if there might be anything left to explore together. Sometimes other guides may have a question or two, just to help clarify or deepen what is already seen. This process can sometimes take a little while, so please feel free to relax and take your time, and know that I’m here if you’d like to look at anything more in the meantime.
If everything stays clear, you’ll be invited to join a group where you can connect with others who have also seen beyond the illusion of a separate self. It’s a space where you’re free to share, ask questions, or simply enjoy being in conversation with like-minded people, if you’d like to.
Thank you for your trust and openness throughout this whole exploration. It has been a real joy to walk through this together with you.
With much gratitude and love,

Re: No self
Hello my dear May! It's so lovely to hear from you again! I was looking at Google Maps and the northeast region of Brazil out of curiosity and interest....the states of espirito santo, bahia, sergipe, paraiba and ceara, piaui, maranhao. Which is your state if I may ask? Singapore is a tiny island city state at the southern tip of Peninsula Malaysia...so we are both close to the Equator then. :)
On a more sombre note, I am deeply saddened by the death of my dear elder sister who passed away on Saturday morning while visiting London, UK to attend a wedding. She was 67 years of age and we were very close. My being is awash with waves of deep sadness and grief and I do feel a deep sense of loss. I have been crying and sobbing as well.... and I am overwhelmed by a torrent or flood of tears of sadness and grief! :( :( I have been getting up from my sleep at night and lo and behold....there is just crying or sobbing...and that's just what's happening....
It's all happening in the NOW, it's all arising in this timeless openness or spaciousness where any and every experience is free to pass through unhindered or unopposed...just innocent, seamless, undivided, pure experience akin to that of a baby or infant.
It is all allowed....embraced....welcomed. The mind is quiet and silent....just noticing happening here....without interpretation or judgment or spinning or weaving some make believe story.
Please feel free to share my responses from LU's 'final questions' with other guides as you have just intimated to me. I welcome the blessing of seeing if there is anything left here to be explored or investigated or inquired together.
I just wanted to share with you what has been experienced here over the last 48 hours since my dear sister's passing. I know it's all so natural and spontaneous and raw to be fully embodied and pregnant with whatever is arising here in the NOW.
Please feel free to share your utterances or wisdom here with me with regard to what I have said or written freely above.
I look forward to hearing from you.
With all my love and gratitude,

Re: No self
Hello my dear Amrit,
I live in Ceará, here in the northeast of Brazil, surrounded by warm ocean and beautiful nature. I’ve never been to Singapore, but I know it’s an amazing place, such a unique meeting point of cultures, and so alive in its own way. Who knows, maybe one day life will bring me there too!
Thank you for sharing so honestly and intimately what is moving through you right now. I feel with you the depth of your love and the rawness of this loss.
In this seeing, even death does not stand apart, it is not outside of this openness. It is another wave of life expressing itself, another form dissolving back into the same timeless space that holds everything.
Grief, tears, sobbing in the middle of the night, all of this is life being completely alive in its own way, not separate, not wrong. No story is needed about what should or shouldn’t be felt. What you are is never broken by what moves through you.
The beauty is that in this very moment, this grief is welcomed fully. It is not pushed away, not held onto, it arises, it passes, it returns. And all of it appears within what you truly are... open, silent, untouched.
Your sister’s form has dissolved, yet what you both are, this unnameable aliveness, remains inseparable, always. There is no border where one ends and the other begins. The love, the tears, the memories, all passing clouds in the same vast sky.
So let the waves come. Let them break and wash over you as they will. You are not only the waves, you are also the ocean holding every single one.
I also want to let you know that the guides have confirmed your seeing, and Nerina should have already reached out to you by private message with more information and to add you to the Facebook group. There is nothing you need to do, just let this integration unfold naturally, in your own time.
And please know that I am always here for you. If ever you wish to talk, share, or look deeper together, you are welcome to reach out to me anytime.
Thank you for your deep trust, your courage, and your openness. Even in grief, this is the dance of life, exactly as it is.
With all my love and warmth,
May

Re: No self
Hello my dear May,
I have thought of writing to you on more than a few occasions since our last email communication sometime in mid July just after my elder sister had passed on or passed away.
The thought did indeed cross my mind of writing to you, of communing with you from the depths of my being but it just didn't happen. I now know the suddenness of my sister's passing and the accompanying sadness, sorrow and grief was needed for me to deepen. It was needed for me to surrender to the openness that is life....this play or movement of experience simply unfolding in this openness or spaciousness that I am!
So here I am writing back to you today! There is just an openness here to all that happens, a willingness here to experience all that has to be experienced, even loss in the form of death of a loved one. I know intuitively that I am this transparent openness for all experience. Whatever the experience, it is just this openness and nothing but this openness. All experience is made out of this unborn, unmanifest, uncreated openness.
I no longer push and pull on experience. Openness has no preferences and all modes of experience can arise.
Strangely I dont have much else to say or write about at this time. But one thing has certainly been a revelation......I use to think that my life was going to fall apart or crumble or collapse because of unsatisfactory life situations like my sister's death, family squabbles, etc but I know now that life is eternally whole and complete and that 'my life' is simply a figment of the ego's or separate self's imagination and therefore a mental construct or image. Another thought that I thought of repeatedly as an imagined separate self was 'I am broken'....how can life ever be broken since it is always and eternally whole, complete, total, one without a second! Totally organic.
Yes indeed, I dont have much else to say inspite of all that has happened these last 2 months...it is all a story anyways. I just let the perfection or Tao that is life unfold spontaneously and organically with little or no mental commentary...that is the mind pattern of a separate self!
I would love to hear back from you my dear friend May.
With all my love and gratitude,
Amrit 💜🙏🪻🌷

Re: No self
Namaste my dear May,
Warmest greetings to you and I hope my message finds you well my dear friend.
I wrote you a message a few days ago and sincerely hope that you received it even though we have not communicated via this platform for about 2 months or so. Your penetrating and insightful guidance in the weeks before that has been both life changing and life affirming in the way that I now face challenges which arise as part of the natural, spontaneous and organic flow of life.
I used to dread difficulties and challenges, even adversity, but now I welcome and embrace them all. It's the dance of life, the dance or play of forms or phenomena, of experience, and it is inseparable from this openness, in fact it is this transparent openness! Form is formlessness, and formlessness is form. There is simply no difference for it is one, not two, never two, never was two. Twoness is the play of illusion, of maya, of measurement or movement, of division. Nothing is separate from me for I am everything. Hallelujah! Amen!
I would love to hear from you, my dear friend May, who lives in Ceara and guides me from everywhere and nowhere...the realm of the Great Mystery or Spirit.
With all my love and warmth,

Warmest greetings to you and I hope my message finds you well my dear friend.
I wrote you a message a few days ago and sincerely hope that you received it even though we have not communicated via this platform for about 2 months or so. Your penetrating and insightful guidance in the weeks before that has been both life changing and life affirming in the way that I now face challenges which arise as part of the natural, spontaneous and organic flow of life.
I used to dread difficulties and challenges, even adversity, but now I welcome and embrace them all. Re: No self
Dear May,
I hope my message finds you well.
I have been trying to reach out to you with my last 2 messages/emails but I am not quite sure if you received them.
You had mentioned that if I ever wished to talk, share or look deeper together, that I could reach out to you.
I just wanted to reach out to you now and connect and say that I would like to look deeper together with your heartfelt guidance once again.
Can you help me, dear May?
I sincerely hope that you are able to receive this message.
With love and gratitude,
Amrit
