LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
I'm frantically looking for the "ultimate solution" without being fully aware of the problem it addresses.
I hope to see that there really isn't a problem at all and no search is necessary.
What are you looking for at LU?
I need help to overcome some dissociation from my body and emotions.
I usually "live in my head" and obey every thought that comes to me.
Sometimes I manage to tear myself away from the thoughts, but it is very difficult for me to focus in the heart and stay there for longer.
What do you expect from a guided conversation?
I am waiting for someone to guide me on how to experience life more sensibly, more realistically.
I expect to overcome that which prevents me from staying with my real experiences, because I am convinced that this is the key.
And to stop starting every sentence with "I" :)
What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
For many years I have been obsessed with the topic of awakening. All day I watch lectures on non-duality: Eckhart Tolle, Adyashanti, Krishnamurti, Thich Nhat Hanh, Angelo DiLullo, Papaji, Jeff Foster, Louise Kay and many, many others. I can't stop myself.
I try to meditate without even knowing if I'm doing something right.
For me, the consideration of the subject prevails over the practice. Even when I try to practice something, I feel the need to ask the mind for judgment, guidance and appreciation of the experience.
On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self? 11
