Searching for the known

Postby Jefftegg » Tue Aug 13, 2019 8:52 am

LU is focused guiding for seeing there is no real, inherent 'self' - what do you understand by this?
I understand this fully. The self is no real. It is subjective. And what we see outside as objective is no real.

What are you looking for at LU?
To find help for the last bits and pieces. I know that the self is no real, but I can't get an helicopter view over 'myself'.
I need some guidance in how to see through the self and to have a look at the big picture.

What do you expect from a guided conversation?
I have no real expectations from a guided conversation.
I hope to expect to get some practical tools to guide me to see the absence of a separate self. I have no clear picture on how this should look.

What is your experience in terms of spiritual practices, seeking and inquiry?
I have reads a lot of different books of Jan Geurtz (Dutch), Eckhart Tolle, Paulo Coelho, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, etc.
I took some courses on personal leadership and realization.
I listen to different podcasts.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how willing are you to question any currently held beliefs about 'self?

Hi Jeffteg.
Pleasure to net you. We can chat and see where it takes you.
All I ask is to write from your experience alone, what feels true to you. You say you understand this fully.
Then what are you looking for?
What needs or should change or be different?

What is that you expect to see?
Give all you have to answer this question.

Love.
Truth realized will set you free.
